Hopefully we announce Montgomery in the next few days, would be strange for him to go to the lions after being knocked back for the top job, by all accounts we are the next club in line to secure his services

He's been coaching the Northern Territory Thunder for the last 3 years (3rd, 1st, 5th). Has had a couple of Riolis (plus a Bowden, a Motlop and Richie Tambling!) under his charge and is regarded as the best up and coming indigenous coach. He's my wildcard. May not make it at AFL level as a coach, but I want us to be the club that gives him a crack.
