Gotta stick with Caddy, he was a no.7 pick ahead of Heppell, Prestia, Gorringe & co!
Would be happy to off load Toy/Krakouer. Tom Nicholls probably the other likely option given he's off contract, Gorringe recently signed up/ruck depth.
Toy and Nicholls would both be worthy of late 1st rounders/mature age guns as they have big hype/youth whilst Krakouer would likely go to Eagles/Dockers for a lowly pick, eg 6th rounder. I cant see this happening though, bet he stays.
Regarding Jolly, I can see a trade happening. Gun player but will struggle for games at Gc despite his talent. I am personally a fan of his but should try trade him to Crows/Power as both would be keen to take him on, whoever offers the most. Hine/Flanagan possibles to return to Vic clubs also, much hyped juniors.

I would not trade a stale packet of chips for Nathan Krakouer.
Speaking to a recruitment bloke a few weeks back (not Richmond) who said the concern with toy was that he may be a manchild with limited upside. Had been looking disinterested in reserves. May have made his decision...

Also given his outbursts the last two times he has played against us, clearly has no love for the club or is just a loose cannon.
Either way not sure if he would be a good fit for us.

Gold Coast taking him off of our hands was the best thing that's happened to my club since 2004.
He was never rated highly because he had a bigger body or used it well, if that's why that recruitment bloke said 'man child'. He was rated so highly because of his disposal by foot, reading of play and spoiling from what I've seen and read from scouts pre 2011.
Surely they'd let go of the young, hugely talented, and highly rated blokes first, for worse footballers to boot.
Absolutely incomprehensible that they'd let go of Moss, Stanlake etc first.

I would delist the following:
Lock (State league calibre player, not afl)
Patrick (talented yes but too many deficencies outweigh his positives)
Stanlake (does not warrant an afl roster spot_
Ablett (nathan not gary haha)
Daye (read stanlake)
Coad (old and injury prone)
Give 1 more year to:
Liddy (dont think he has what it takes but give him 1 more year)
Moss (his make or break in 2012)
Harris (keep him on due to low price and list depth/insurance)
Put up for trade bait:
Toy (for something good)
Flanagan (for whatever you an get)
May (Needs to be right offer or he stays)
Hine (mid range offer to seek more opportunity)
Krakouer (whatever you can get, pick 100?)

I saw a bit of a Toy play and was really bouyant on him stepping in from day dot and playing well. He has been very underwhelming and I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole now for what you would have to give up to get him.
I think it's very doubtful a first year player has peaked. Do you really think he can't improve?
His game wasn't about being bigger than anyone else and dominating that way, he stood out because of his foot skills and ability to read the play.
Saying that, he may be a one position wonder and not have 'it' mentally/physically to do the hard yards....Might just want a cushy role as a loosie his whole career?

Agree form has been underwhelming and as such his value will have dipped somewhat on what it would have been 18 months ago.
That said, a club will still give up something reasonable to get him-he won't get home to Vic via the PSD and the draft isn't deep, so it'll still take a good deal to shift him.
Toy seems a good fit in more tradition club looking for a young small backine with maturity around him while he gets games under his belt. Not sure of his worth but Id like in the Hoops.

I'd like Toy as well. Seems like he has a big body and some talent, but isn't enjoying it there. Pick 25ish would do it, no?
Unless he totally pushes for a trade, something I don't think will happen, he will be on our books next year.
This, maybe a couple of their rookie listed players as well, wouldn't mind Matera at West Coast
