Mile Jedinak with a good defensive game against Spurs. Gave the ball away a few times though.

Should be the captain of the national team. How Lucas Neill still has that title is a mystery to me, he's a total hack.

Holy shit I agree with you GB!

Curtis Good (former Heart defender) made his debut for Newcastle this morning against Morecambe playing a full match at CB. From all reports, was very impressive and composed on the ball. Dare I say it but if he can keep that form going, no reason he can't be a future socceroos stalwart. Unfortunately, I can't see him getting many games as he is probably our 5th choice CB at the moment...

will be in the mix after the world cup you'd think

Speaking of which, what do people think the team will look like post-World Cup?

As someone who has little to no clue, here's my attempt:

Eugene Galekovic
Ryan McGowen - Curtis Good - Craig Goodwin - Michael Zullo
Connor Pain - Mile Jedinak - Aaron Mooy - Tommy Oar
Tom Rogic - Robbie Kruse

A lot of this based on transfermarkt's player values & I'm probably missing someone important. Again, I have no clue.

don't think kruse can lead the line like some would expect. would hope we can find a proper forward with kruse and oar on each side (assuming its a front 3 we will play)

rogic is gonna be massive for us, hell i reckon he can have a good world cup if he gets enough time on the pitch.

What about the always forgotten Shane Lowry? Did he do somthing with Holgers missus or somthing? Poor guy never gets a guernsey.
