Curtis Good (former Melbourne Heart defender) picked up a knee injury this morning playing for our U21 side in the PL development league. Not sure how serious it is just yet - a shame for him as he has started his stint in England well - loaned him to Bradford where he helped them reach the Capital cup final only to lose to Swansea.

Also, Craig Goodwin from the Newcastle Jets is flying over to the UK for a trial at Reading. Good luck to him!

which means Celtic will snap him up in the next couple weeks

off to join Rogic in Glasgow.

Given the current state of the Socceroos, we need as many players playing regularly for big European teams as we can get :thumbsu:

Terry Antonis set to sign for Parma in the Serie A.

A decent move I think. Parma are just outside the top teams in Italy, but are usually in the top 10. If he actually gets game time then he should thrive, but Italy is pretty cutthroat when it comes to team selection - moreso than other European leagues - if you don't impress quickly, you'll get thrown int the sreserves or loaned out to a smaller club. Lets hope he does well, if signed.

Apparently he's also been courted by Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Utrecht, but will travel to Italy this week for the Parma move.

Robbie Kruse reportedly on the way to Bayer Leverkusen.

Robbie Kruse will imminently be unveiled by UEFA Champions League-bound Bayer Leverkusen as its replacement for Chelsea-target Andre Schurrle as the rapid rise of the Australia striker continues unabated.

Sources close to the 24-year-old striker confirm he has agreed terms with German powerhouse Leverkusen with the club now just negotiating the finer points of a transfer fee in the region of $A2 million.

Leverkusen, sitting third in the Bundesliga and with a UCL spot all but locked up, has been in discussions with Fortuna for several weeks – and now, with Germany forward Schurrle, 22, set to move to Stamford Bridge for $30 million, it has found itself a replacement at a bargain price

Kruse move has been confirmed, great for him, just hope he is in there plans as a regular as Leverkusen is great side in Germany, could really build him up as a top Socceroo.

Well done Brett, just signed away your starting spot for next year.

Yup, ridiculous decision by Holman to go to such a rubbish league in the year leading up to the World Cup.

I'd like to think following the WC, players plying their trade in leagues such as this should forfeit their right for Socceroos selection.

Well considering his form, I doubt there were many other offers out there. It's better than warming the bench at Villa.
