I'm pretty sure the way it works is:
- They beat us by 70 last year
- They beat us by 3 this year
- We beat them by 64 in the qualifying final in September
- We beat them by 131 in the grand final in October

dogwatch Very good analysis from the Hawthorn viewpoint and the fact we came so close tends to make me believe we have learned a heap about how to play the Hawks, Bob or no Bob. Pushing the rules by the Hawks is very well known but other sides seem to baulk at doing the same - this can't continue. People on here have been mealy-mouthed about McLean's so-called "ducking", but hey, THEY do it when it suits them. Have a look at CD's highlights vid, he tackles Mitchell who pulls his head down trying to move Caleb's arms up. (Yeah, we know Mitchell though, "Brownlow medallist" o_O) I don't want our boys to be known as "unsociable" (euphemism) but should we fight fire with fire?

Perhaps Terry Wheeler can come in and give the boys some more "inspiration" on what it takes.
