Sausage - why are you on the SKOB wagon?? you wrote us off at the start of the year as per above as RELEGATION certainties.

Well, if you read my prediction carefully, I did say that the ageing players ( such as yourself champ!) will need to pull out soemthing special and they have.

Also, the coach has done a great done with a lesser list, whihc was an unknown at the start of the year.

I wasnt the only one predicting doom and gloom at the start of the year.

Happy to be proven wrong and players such as yourself keep on keeping on season after season.

simple fact is that the skob still think they are entitled to a VAFA carpet roll out for being the most disappointing team in the last ten years. I will laugh my arse off when they bomb out this year.

Massive result at the postage stamp today. TPB you said if you got within a few goals you would be genuine flag favourites. I know that the stamp provides a massive home ground advantage but no advantage is worth 100+ points. Surely the tigers are well and truely favourites to collect the silverware

And some bizare umpiring. Brennan reported and sent off, red carded. Umpires then told SBMT runner that he could replaced so he was for a few minutes before the player was pulled after ammo official came over to say that he couldnt be replaced.

WOW!!

So much for the mental scarring I talked about. OE must have a 4cm layer of scar tissue around their skull now!!

SBMT look like the real deal, A Grade should be worried.

and Blacks have the bye.

Disappointing comment, MHSOB did take out Ajax in round 6 in what could prove to be the ninth spot relegation poison pill.

I've seen them twice this year, against OE in round 1 when they were clearly outclassed and again today, was working near the zoo this morning so decided to pop in to Optus. For the first half, I don't know what they were doing but footy wasn't on their agenda. Blacks were all over them. Half time 9.16 to 1.2. But whatever was said at half time worked, they came out and had a crack and won the third quarter 4.2 to Blacks' 3.5. Blacks overran them in the last to win 19.26 to 8.7, to their credit some of the MHSOBs kept fighting right to the end.

Given the wayward kicking from Blacks, the game could have been completely different if High had come out of the blocks with the determination they showed after the long break.

Tigers will start favourites for A Grade flag next year.

That is a stupid remark. The Tigers would get smashed every weekend unless they get some big men over the summer if they indeep make the jump. Ofcourse pace and skill are great attributes to have but if you have a 6'0ft boy on a 6'4ft man bad things happen on a footy field. That is one of the tigers weaknesses i have seen. Maybe it is their only weakness??

Gee bit sensitive...the club has won one game for the year (both seniors and ressies). Also very strange to pick up on that comment when I boldly predicted OE (completely wrong) and SKOB (not as wrong but wrong). With the changed demographics at the school the old boys have very little chance of being a ammo force.

For the record got the OMs, Fielders and blacks right.

Anyone know where there B grade finals are this year?

I have heard Box Hill for the Semi's and then EP from then on!

Not sensitive at all, just struck me as not being a very nice thing to say, even though it was true up until half time. I picked up on it because I was one of the few to have seen the game, nothing ulterior there.

For the record I picked OE and the skobbers too, so consider yourself in good company.

What a footy weekend...pies on Friday then the OM's give it to us on Saturday...thank god for beer and ouzo...but not in the same glass

You wouldn't get a bigger game than Beauy v CG on Saturday, winner safe and the loser in huge trouble!

Any special plans Rabs?

Stopping Sinclare would have to be high on the agenda! I think he is suspect to a bit of phyiscal and verbal abuse maybe send Georgie down there for a little bit of niggle?
