Is the home of the biggest and most successful APS school in Melbourne.

Look Blooded - you must have been one of those rare students who missed out on a scholarhsip at Haileybury as your lack of intelligence astounds me. - I ain't from PEGS pal! I would however prefer a short train ride to Essendon station from the city to watch Condos kick 10 than 15 bus connections to Keysborough to watch Stewie Loewe.

Need to clariFy 2 things HBW & Merc before you come out of your corners for the 4th round.

1) No one lives in Keysborough (well not that they would say) only the school, one of the best kept golf courses in Melbourne and easy thouroughfare to the Mornington Freeway.

2) Stewie Loewe will not play again....GAWN GAWN GAWN!

Ok, come out punching, make sure you keep them above the waist.

It may or may not be the ass end of the world but the area sure can breed some talent...and if im not mistaken anyone seen the ladder at the moment.

Word is Cheese's feature will also be picked up in the Herald Sun promoting the Madden/Fletcher Bonanza.

Haha Stewie Loewe doesn't play out of Keysy. If you had Half a clue on what you were posting you would know that he lines up with the rest of the team at our home ground, McKinnon Reserve aka 'The Badlands'. So who's lacking in the intelligence department now???

Keysy is next too Springvale. How can you possibly choose Essendon over Keysy/Springvale... Haha

Almost CC but Loewey is not many weeks away...FACT.

Sorry Cardio - I am just frustrated that Condos has had to sit out for the past 2 weeks, its pissing me off. As if an EDFL suspension has any standing in the VAFA, should have been waived. A disgraceful decision by Sholly and co.
And if you are playing at Capitol golf course you must have friends in high places, so i salute you.

As for the Badlands i know where that is Bloodedforlife as i use to watch the great Sean Millane run around with one glove at the oval next door. Another model citizen from out McKinnon way......

Nah, that course is overated just like its owners horses.

I 'm talking about the Keysb. golf course...a hidden gem to those on the other side of town

If this is the banter after Round 2, I'd hate to see what wild accusations and predictions are being made after Round 15!

B Grade Big Footy thread may be shut down!

Long season gents, saddle up for the ride.

P.S Long live Tommy Brain (x2)

Yeah, your right Super.

Lets not talk footy banter about B Grade on this site.

mmmm ok then, uuummm what did you do Saturday night bud?.

How are the kids?

Seen any good movies lately?

Drank a nice Cab Sav the other night from the Coonawarra district called Punters Corner...very nice.

Ummm I've run out of things to talk about...sorry

Can anyone shed any light on the SKOBS last qtr fadeouts ... ? (which they also had in their last praccy against Bernies)
Are there any obvious reasons for them...?

ps: CG, cant wait for cheese obrien's much anticipated OEG V StB's scoop in the MV leader....

Saw some of the game and in parts SKOB looked good.

Unfortunately big Garv spent too much time on his hair and not his fitness over the summer which showed. Dolman was great in patches but when they put some one on him didn't go near. Luke not Josh Mahoney was more prevelant and why they didn't put the big ruckman to full forward earlier amazed me. Took 5 marks, and had 3 to 4 shots close to goal in the last quarter but missed.

Wouldn't say fade out more like missed opportunities which shoulda and coulda buried their opponents. Caulfield have some very good young players and again in patches saw some brilliance. Word is some big names are still missing and are likely to be back this week and next!

My apologies CC.

My point was that we're only two rounds in, hiring, firing and retiring teams and players should be done with caution.

The "Two Sides of the River" debate should have been a topic at the 2020 forum.

Your insightfullness , football knowledge and smarts have really astounded me and i would imagine that you are involved at the coaching level somewhere in the system . Maybe your involved at OC that would probably explain why they are in such a precarious position with two games into the season gone .

Gees i made that remark about 2 months ago, looks like you've been eagerly waiting to pounce, too bad its only round 2, hardly a precarious position.

Anyway onto the stuff that matters.

While the afl boys have struggled a little they are beginning to hit their straps with a very minimal pre-season for all of them. Hilton and Loats both kicked 4 this week and Kingsley had about 50 shots at goal, they can only improve. Follow that up with the inclusion of the Kenyan and Nossa in the next couple of weeks and i think we will see some different results. Nossa is back after a floating bone in his hip last year and is looking strong on the track.

As for your educated guess as to who iam, your nowhere near it. While i sympathise with the OC cause im hardly involved with the coaching staff, but i do appreciate the fact you admire my insightfullness, football knowledge and smarts.

But Super, we have to have these discussions here - who else would raise them, non-pseudonym's?...yeah right!

They bring to many facts and emotional baggage

I agree that when they are fit they will improve and OC will be much better for it but KK was renamed Kan't Kicksley by Geelong supporters for a very good reason.

Round 1 they played the last 60 mins with 17 and Saturday ran out of gas with a couple of players with bad broken bones HOWEVER no excuses, should have put Caulfield away in the second term and the common theme is they cant kick straight to save themselves. Its been happening for 2 years now, perhaps the coaching staff need to have the boys spend the whole of Thursday night in front of the sticks. Also time for the young lads to step up to the plate and put their money where their mouths are, too much being left to Mahns, Dolly, Gino and Garv. If they do, they have a bright year ahead, otherwise C Section beckons.

You must be talking about gooch, the round 1 specialist?

Great win by the young Sharks...Definately deserved the 4 points. I have read a few posts saying that Camberwell had more scoring shots, and as a few replied, it means jack-squat, as it is all in context of the game. The Sharks got up by as much as 40 points in the 3rd term and only a couple late goals by Camberwell kept them in touch. Although the OC came back in the last, it was pleasing to watch the side dig deep again and win after OC hit the front. From what many of the players were saying after the game, the ground was very heavy due to the disgusting sandy surface of the top oval at Camberwell. After creating all the play in the first 3 quarters, the last quarter caught up with the boys. Made for a great finish, but the young Sharks definately deserved the win...the end result actually flatters OC as they were clearly beaten for 3 quarters. The way the Sharks run the ball will create many headaches for sides and they will only get better better at doing this.
I saw Hilton hobble off after kicking a late goal, the whisper being a hammy, but not sure. And I actually feel sorry for Kent Kingsley - goal kicking was obviously his nemesis at AFL level and cost him his career, the same thing happened a few times on the weekend.
Tough game coming up against Old Essendon. Always a side that produce enough to be a contender for finals. I don't know how the Sharks will go, but i know it will take 4 solid quarters on OEGS behalf to win.
Will be interesting to see if any of the so-called expert tipsters in the forum give Beauy a go this weekend. Will Cardio Carl stay onboard the MifsudWagon as the only one other than me to tip Beauy last week? Will anyone else be game to jump aboard???
