Will Dogsnot O'Keefe walk straight back into the SKOBs First XVIII when he comes out of retirement soon? Apparently he's due back from Germany soon after another bid to fix his troublesome strings.

200kg's would be an Australian record. Being realistic judging from his physique Condos would struggle to bench much more then 100kgs on a max lift (which is not piss weak). I do not think his upper body strength is his number one asset. He can still definitely play though, he is quick and uses his strength well, normal full backs in b grade are generally taller and less mobile than him so he gets a makeshift full back each week. A tough match up (just like potter when playing), the best option is to strangle the supply.
The weight coach at the grammar has barred Trent' the light tower 'Skurry from spotting for the greek adonis during gym sessions for not wearing undies under his running shorts and the coaching staff feel the muscle less mass of body Skuz has is harder to shift and actually engulf opposition players limbs, so no weights for the big man .

Hmmm try again Darren, and this time try and use that grammar they teach at Grammar.

wanka.....they're travelling fine.
You don't need to be playing your best footy in May/June.

chill out mate just asking the question
have seen the 19s play a few times and although the team itself are shocking there a few very talented players
the ruckman lille is very strong and has beaten his opponent everytime i have seen, not having a rest all game while other teams have multiple ruckmen
the full-forward or centre-half al johnson has kicked goals and dominated the forward line with limited ball
also perry i believe a little onballer is extremely skillful and manages to find alot of the ball
should these players be given a shot or are they just good players in an average team

i did not think carey was a side who had only won two games for the year but last saturday they showed they were better than that. Was disappointed to see another beauy loss and it was obvious that they need some hardness and toughness around the ball. What has happened to Mick Obrien Ash Obrien and Justin Vance maybe these three old warriors might provide some well needed bark around the ground or have these guys retired or playing in the clubbies. Is there any talented players in the twos and is the coach there doing his job to blood these guys.

Chicken Man...half the side is under 21, plus there's more in the 2's and 19's that have played 1's. Mifsud has blooded enough guys...its one of those times where a new group is coming through and there is plenty of potential there. Guys like Vance and the O'Briens are in the clubbies not 2's these days. Look at the Blues, a lot of young players that are starting to come together more consistently and are only getting better after a few years together.
There are good signs, but these good signs are outweighed by lapses in concentration and probably a bit of skill. This kind of experience in B Grade is invaluable to the group. Look for much improvement in the 2nd half of the year as the group comes together. Hopefully they surprise a few a get some much deserved wins.

Good signs for sure looking at their latest recruit playing in the clubbies last saturday.

This player being an ex- VFL Sandy 100 game CHB and later OX premiership player.

This won't help your cause. Has to be the most bizarre suspension in the history of footy. Maybe Buddy should have taken option 2 for the Box Hill Hawks instead of the reprimand?? How Kinsella got off last year still amazes me.

And i suppose after all those rumours from the SKOB v Beauy ressies game he is counting his blessings he isnt umpiring the Beauy Reserves game......

FROM VAFA website:

Beaumaris AFC charged with conduct unbecoming in that their registered player Luke McNicholas, did allegedly not behave in a manner fitting the ethos of the VAFA during the Old Ivanhoe versus St. Bedes Mentone Tigers match on Sunday June 1.
Charge proven.
1. Player, Luke McNicholas suspended for two weeks (rounds 9 and 10).
2. Luke must act as either goal umpire, timekeeper, interchange steward for Beaumaris reserves for the next five weeks (rounds 11 to 15).
3. Letter of apology (as approved by VAFA CEO) – to VAFA, VAFAUA, Old Ivanhoe, St Bedes Mentone Tigers

OEG to beat marcellin - big match. could OEG lose there undefeated streak? nah.

St Kevs
too good for OM.

Beumaris to beat OC in a close one. could go either way they.

OH to just beat caulfield.

Dogs to smash OC. could be good percentage boost.

Marcellin to upset OEG

St Kevs too good for OM. Impressive last week were skevvies...

OC to kick a point after the siren to win 0-1-1 to 0-0-0 against Beauy.

OH to beat caulfield.

Dogs to smash OC. Pearson to kick 10 before half time.

oeg - would love to see them stumble though. just leave it in the back of their heads...
skob - a good win here would prove they have turned the corner
oc - 0-0 draw, oc to win on penalties
oh - think caulfield will put up a fight in the old man v young man clash
bernards - too strong against the lower teams, need % boost though

What was the outcome of the weird tribunal case on Tuesday invoving Peter O'Donnell from OH? Apparently reported 2 weeks after the match not by the umpires but on a formal complaint

SKOB to win a hard fought battle against the relegation candidate..will be closer than you'd think though.

OC to account for Beauy. They are in all sorts at the moment unfortunately

OE to just account for Marcellin. Rain would help the boys from bullen though.

OH to beat the fielders with Archer and Stevo

Dogs to take OC2 to town

OEG vs Marcellin - OEG at Keilor Hill in a tight match , 12 pts
OM's vs SKOBS - SKOBs out for revenge 37pts
Beauie vs Camberwell - Wellers by 28
Haileybury vs Caulfield - Big grudge match, fielders got spanked last time but i reckon have improved alot, bloods by 10pts
St bernards vs Carey - Snowdogs comfortably 44pts

OEG vs Marcellin @ PEGS - Should be a ripper - battle of the midfields.
OM's vs SKOB @ Junction - Always tight contests between these 2.
Beauie vs Camberwell @ Moorabin - Can't tip a side that lost by over 100 the week before.
Haileybury vs Caulfield @ Badlands - Will be cheering on the Fields but Voss back will help OH.
St bernards vs Carey @ Pit - Carey should be full of confidence until they get to the sloping driveway.

Dont know if any you other posters wold agree but B grade this year needs some spark.it would be great to see marcellin knock over OEG just to add some spice.when you compare it to A grade where you have 5 teams that could take out the pennant, B grade is looking like a 2 horse race or maybe even a 1 horse race.there could be a fight on between skobs/haileybury for 4 th spot.

thank god our great comp can maintain our interest with relegation battles because there aint much happening at the top in B grade in '08.

of course heaven forbid OEG could choke again come september ...

Considering the way Uni Blacks are going it just makes the OEG situation more of a farce.
What happens when they finish 18-0 and turn up in a 2nd semi as the $1.25 favs??
