I now end my association with the Bombers (after Mad Tuesday), after kicking 5 goals in 3 games from the pocket i think it shows that if you give someone a go as beez did it may or may not work out for you.

Boys, in the absence of Beez I want to thank everybody for a great season. We have had a lot of fun this season and it's a shame we couldn't go all the way.

Also on behalf of the team, thanks very much to beez. Great captain all season, kept things running, etc etc.

We should all try to pull in a poster or two where possible to make sure we thrive through the expansion period (most newbies will go to expansion teams in off-season, so we may need to strike early).

Nobody better pull a shock move and quit during the off-season for another club. If I can manage to stay two seasons in a row, anyone can!

Also, the sim has been updated so next season will see more accurate full-forwards. I might actually run during the pre-season to take advantage of this.

It has been a great year boys - unfortunately I don't think we had the depth to make up for the earlier loss of two key midfielders in a finals series.

It is with great regret that I must confess, my efforts with the Baghdad Blitz were quite inconsistent - next year I'll be consuming a far wider range of SFA material to keep it relevant and ahead of the curve... and hopefully a bit more frequent as well!!

I think we're a chance at securing some of the top-end available talent from other SFA clubs - but I think that we should aim for a balance when targeting players.

Top end, newbz and of course those players who represent 'moneyball' value - I might even do a moneyball assessment and present it to the leaders of this great club.

Meh, so disappointing after such a promising season. All's not lost though. Thanks for the season guys, everyone's been fantastic. Just want to echo okey's sentiment about sticking around, hopefully everyone has enjoyed this season and wants to be part of the Bombers going forward. If anyone is thinking of jumping ship (especially to the new franchises), it's all good, just give me some advance notice.

I'll probably do the B&F either next Thursday or next Sunday night (those times suit me but if everyone has a preferred night I can do it then), so whoever are doing votes, it'd be great if you could get them to me by next Wednesday.

Yeah Fellas i'll bid this farewell unless something goes wrong with the Swampies (sorry beez i know how mad you get when i mention them)

I had a great first two years, really enjoyed it

If the swamprats fail in their bid or fold down the line, i hope you pricks dont move the spare key from underneath the loose brick

Also if they fail, i'll try to bring as many of the lads as i can across with me
