Think they'll struggle this year. Expect them to still finish top 6, but losing Roughead for the majority of the season will be very hard for them to replace him. Gunston and Shoenmakers won't be able to cover him.

Yeah I know, but they still have enough talent to get there. Whilst they have Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis and co in the midfield they'll be hard to beat. But with Hale and Lake retiring, and now Roughy going down with injury I just think they might fall off the pace this year.

There's an argument that 18 teams actually dilutes talent, though.Four years in a row in an 18 team competition would be the best team of all time
The only four-peat to compare to would be the 1927-30 Pies, who achieved that in a 12 team competition. But the diluting of talent is probably more than made up for by the increase of professionalism and so on.
Yeah, they'd be the best of all time I think. As much as it sickens me to say it.
