Maybe it's because they feel a little bit inferior because they are not a fully fledged Melbourne-based club. Part Victorian/part Tasmanian, it would give anyone an identity crisis.

No they are simply jealous of the Navy BLUE jumper. Ever notice that their other apparel has navy blue in it.
I can fully understand, as who would want to wear a brown and yellow suit or any clothing in that combination.

I have studiously avoided The Bay, however it seems we have let it infiltrate our board.

I appreciate the Mods limiting it to this one thread though, should help avoid idiots trying to make their bones by baiting the locals on game day threads.

Have to try these things, the interlopers may have the whole thread to themselves once the locals get sick of the same lame insults. Hopefully there are some creative/funny opposition supporters out there to keep us interested in coming back. Past experience leaves plenty of room for doubt.

They ruined Erin Riley's Grand Final experience as well, those awful Squakers, how they sleep at night ???

I wonder if its the whole spoilt inner eastern suburbs private school mentality when it comes to Hawthorn fans, recall a couple of lads from Xavier stealing a tram and taking it for a ride on the 48 route (North Balwyn) several years ago on muck up day, bet those students were Hawthorn fans
