Hurricanes problem has always been depth. Have had a few stars over the years, but generally the bottom couple of players in the side aren't fantastic.

Hurricanes problem has always been depth. Have had a few stars over the years, but generally the bottom couple of players in the side aren't fantastic.

The depth in the competition sucks all around, too little talent for 8 teams. The much vaunted players for the Canes have a habit of going missing in finals. End of the day that is what it comes down to. You need the big name players to get the job done when it matters. See how the bowlers get on now, Meredith and Ellis might be able to do what the batsman couldn't.
