Good Effort and not a bad group for Geelong .
Swift sound very much like a Wells pick. Pick a kid undervalued because of injury , he did this with Chapman , Hunt , Varcoe and Selwood , especially if he has the potential to be far better than the a late R1 pick.
Don't know anything about Gilchrist but his size is good. At this size and to be this low he must have deficiencies , is he slowish? One side? Ordinary dispossal?Anyway if the Cats like them they trust themselves to groom them so it could be a likely pick
and IF the Cats only have three picks I think you will find they will use their last on their NSW kid , Ranga Ediwickrama , seemed to go OK at the Champs and would be probably a similar size to Strauss
