Been some absolutely amazing goals in our great game but if you had to pick just one which would it be?

Personally mine would go to Peter Daicos in the final against the Eagles in 1990. This goal is the best I have seen. This was at an absolute dire stage of the game which ended up being a draw. The actually skill level in this goal is unbelievable as well as the play leading up to it

Brad Johnson's freak mid-air hack from the boundary against brisbane is probably the best bulldogs goal I have seen.

But overall probably Daniel Motlop 2007 at the gabba would be the best I have seen. Ridiculous defiance of the laws of physics.

Probably the best goal ever kicked in the fourth quarter of a qualifying final. But it's quite similar to several other bananas from the pocket.

I always liked this one from Adam McPhee. An off balance, under pressure banana from the boundary

But the greatest has to be this:

That Motlop goal was the first that sprang to mind for me.

I reckon you could have every player in the league attempt that once on a day at the Gabba, and not one would be able to repeat it.

Was a good goal for the time but we see similar goals most weeks now.

Daics was the first that I thought of but not that one. He kicked one from the boundary I think at Waverley against perhaps Geelong.

He was getting hit as he kicked from right on the boundary in the right forward pocket and drilled it with a torp. Was a lot better than the one you've put up.

I'm sure a Pies fan can refresh all of our memories or show it to some of the young'uns on here.

Incredible.

Malcolm Blight's goal was the best goal ever. I bet he could of tried that 100 more times and would not kick a single one.

I wasn't at the game but always remember where I was when he kicked it (was listening to the game on the radio).
