Hodge has had one good season in eight. I admit that he is a great player, but he is no where near Judd at the moment. Maybe if he strings a couple of good seasons together and Judd doesnt play to his standard as often. Then you can consider Hodge in the same calibre. But for now, forget it.

Griffen over Roughhead. I know there is an age old saying that KP > Mid, but I reckon Griffen is going to win more games off his own boot that Roughhead.

Cotchin over Kreuzer; How much more dangerous would Carlton be if they had Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Stevens and Cotchin? My worry with Kreuzer is he is very much an in-between a ruck and a KP.

griffen and roughie were a hard split. i based it on the fact that this point, roughie would be the best forward in the comp, griffen is good but the best. silly theory yes, but i needed something. roughie can win you a game. i doubt griffen could. also, roughie has shown he plug a hole in defence and ruck if need be. not bad.

hodge > Judd is just silly. Hodge has never been considered in the top 3 in the afl. Judd has been there since nearly his 2nd season.
dont get me wrong, my hodge mancrush knows no boundary, but he isnt a better player than Judd

I'd say Cotchins first year was far better than Kreuzers. Kreuzer has stepped up this year but Cotch hasn't had the chance yet.

Cotchin was better than a raw boned 18 year old ruckman/forward who played nearly every game and kicked three goals in wins over the Dogs and the Power as a forward.

You make Kreuzer sound like Vickery.

You Hawthorn supporters are all the same, jsut because he is won the norm smith you wouldnt be arguing. if hodge was so good, he would be voted by the players as the MVP but he wasnt and never will be.

If Hodge was so good why would he only recieve two brownlow votes last year.

Yeah it's great that he kicked 3 goals in a match and everything. Cotchin kicked 2 goals against Geelong in the wet and had us leading Geelong well into the game, in his first match. Overall Cotch was much more consistent and in my view better.

Overall I think Cotchin's first year was much better than Kreuzers, yet Kreuzer has stepped up this year (forget the freo game) and has probably performed at a level equal to or greater than Cotch last year. If Cotch doesn't improve this year then I'd say it would be even. Since Cotch hasn't had that chance yet I'll still give it to Cotch.

I think it's a little unfair that just because Cotchin has been injured and has played a few good games that he be regarded as having performed better than Kruezer based on those few games.

Have you watched Murphy at all?

He's been a great consistent performer and will be leading our B and F over Judd.
