I'm happy that he slots in a tier below those listed in this thread, but his form has been ominous the past month or so. Think there are definitely a few more bags in his future.

And yes, our midfield is a cheat code for a big forward who can clunk a pack mark.

Decent player but definitely doesn’t have the long term form of the others listed. Obviously he’s been great tonight but it’s an outlier in his career. He’s kicked 100-150 goals fewer than Naughton and the Kings, despite being in the same age group

Could have something to do with only having played 40 games, as opposed to Naughton (134), B King (86) and M King (81).

31 goals this year at 2.4 per game.

Yes, which was my point about the lack of long term form to judge him against the others - relatively low experience for his age

Harry McKay is 26, Curnow is 27, Larkey 26, Hipwood 26.

Naughton and King brothers are 24 and under.

Do we change the thread title to remove “young” or start talking about actual young key forwards?

Or change the names being talked about.

Conversation should be about JUH, Thilthorpe, McDonald, Darcy etc

From that original list:

1) Curnow
2) Naughton
3) McKay
4) Ben King
5) Max King
