I reckon in the last 15 years outside the big test countries Pakistan have been the most competitive nation(probably even better than NZ) to come to Australia but they just have seriously comical moments that just undoes all their great work

Been the hallmark of Pakistan cricket for decades. Talented enough to play with the heavyweight cricketing countries, but frequently snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with boneheaded stuff like dropped catches, run outs, and playing terrible shots to gift wickets.

Who came up with this BBL fixture? No Scorchers for over a week and then two matches in 3 days against the same opposition.

Scorchers asked for some of their away games to be bunched together in close succession in order to lessen travel. iirc we play another two away games after this one within a week. Kinda wish the eagles would request the same.

I reckon the Hobgod is a better fit at 6 than Connolly, although that leaves the Scorchers with not many bowling options beyond the quicks and Agar (Hardie for some reason bowls quite rarely, I guess because he’s not needed).
