Apparently the people who do the ball tracking say the margin for error is so much smaller than is actually used but the ICC wants it at 50%

It’s fun to bag Davey but we are about to have another merry go round of openers again. I would love to see Bangers get another opportunity but at 27 I’d rather bring Renshaw in and at least back him. It’s quite scary we don’t have many cricketers dominating shield and pushing for test spots with the team so old. Even the young lads around the mark are mid 20’s. You look at this test team and every single one bar lyon(even he was youngish) got their opportunity for test cricket in their early 20’s

Credit where it’s due, Warner played that innings very well to turn a tricky chase into a bit of a doddle

Helped that they kept Jamal, and to a lesser extent Salman out of the attack, until it was virtually all over. He also had a bit of luck with one near chop on early in his innings especially

Didn’t quite get the fairy tale finish but he saw us through and was able to soak up the applause as he left the ground so it worked out pretty well

Time now to find his replacement but whoever it is people will need to remember when Warner finished he was averaging more like 20 odd his last year or two and not 50
