Jake Stringer anyone. We would have some serious X factor in our team. Convert him into a big bodied no nonsense midfielder like Dusty. Push forward on occasions. Loves the don't argue and is quality by foot. Worth a look I would have thought.
Geelong and Essendon are reportedly frontrunners to snare the former No.5 draft pick.

Dangerflog and Duckwood need some help! Jake is on the trade table, he is in the right age bracket and we don't mind taking a risk on star quality. Teams being front runners is just media speculation. I would love Clarko to have a chat with him at least.

If we got Kennedy and Rockliffe across the line, our midfield of O'meara, Mitchell, Rockliffe and Kennedy would represent a player from each of the northern states Suns, Swans, Brissie and GWS.
What are the odds that we'd have poached a few gold nuggets from that crew of clubs?

Uhm, not the odds two players of the 4 named being on our list.
The odds that SHOULD we gain the services of Kennedy & Rockliffe (who would certainly get runs in our first team), we'd have gotten the players from THOSE clubs.
Not exactly havens of talent we've regularly fished from, and long been the subject of derision and casual vitriol from BF Hawk supporters......

Barrett (on Trade Radio) is adamant that pick 20 is the right mark for Stringer. Seems too cheap to me. I would have thought Top 10 is in order plus maybe an outer player.

Pretty sure I read the Bulldogs have said it would need to be a top 10 pick.
I don't think there's much chance of us going for stringer.
