Stringer has essentially been sacked by the Bulldogs. 23 year old who was awesome in 2015 and has been playing on reputation ever since. Only just made it into the Dogs team for the finals last year. I think we should let the Bombers or Cats take this bloke and we should quietly try and get Matt Kennedy this year which will have meant we have reset our inside midfield in 12 months and then we can start chasing a Key forward either via next years draft or trade

He's played 19 games of senior footy averaging just over 15 touches a game.

So far out of all the suggestions I'd be happy with Kennedy. Young midfielder in a team with a very deep midfield may entice him to seek a new home and we could use another mid.

Might not be seen as a big fish but we are rebuilding a list so any extra depth in the midfield would be great.

My take on Matt Kennedy is that he is a strong contested ball winner that is match hardened after playing against men leading into the draft. Lacks polish but would be good cover for Tom Mitchell, younger and cheaper than a Tom Rockliff.

Pretty similar to Dan Howe actually but Kennedy has had more exposure through junior ranks in midfield. The Giants midfield is loaded, the kid went at pick 13 after another club (Tigers) bid on him.

This is another example of us snapping up talent taken in the top end of the draft when we did not have access to them.
