We'd rather you play Mastermind. But as i said earlier if we are unable to occupy permanent umpires, we can ask the players on the bench to help out as a couple have already volunteered to do so.

BTW, Melbourne will supply the other goal and boundary umpire so we only need one of each.

That's pretty impressive work to get the team together in just over a week.

Since Ive missed out on a position inthe team, can I be the team runner...

There are gonna be changes left, right and centre on the day, most people wont be able to run out the game and a few people probably wont come. So you will get quite alot of time on the ground. Ill put you on the bench for now.

However if you heart is set on being a runner i see no reason why you cant be.

ive got a stack of AFL training jumpers with numbers on the back if they can be of some use?

That could be very handy for those whose jumpers either dont fit anymore or who dont have one.

I suppose if you're willing to let people borrow them for the game, they can contact you before hand, state their size etc, so you dont have to bring the whole lot. Cheers Sharks.

We shall know very soon the date, time, place etc.

As for the jumpers BYO or if you dont have one or it doesnt fit, you can look for people with extras that are your size.
