Port @ AAMI will be a Freo win, have u seen how they have been playing?

Hardly a certainty. Port are almost unbeatable at home. They've lost once at AAMI all season (in 9 games) not counting the neutral game against the Crows.

They've hardly looked a quality side though in those wins, some wins have just been scrape-ins. They were trailing at half time against the Bulldogs, 3 quarter time against Essendon, scraped over Brisbane and almost lost a 40 point lead in 15 minutes, drew with Carlton, lost to Geelong and scraped over Richmond. They have had some good performances like the 100 point win over Hawthorn and the win over Kangaroos and Melbourne.

I'd still back Port to win but they are hardly unbeatable considering Freo have a good away record this year, almost beating Adelaide at AAMI. Freo are a chance, but the game is 50-50.

If we win our last 4 games (which are all winnable) then 11-11 is an outside chance to finish 8th.

I went to the ladder predictor on allthestats.com, and gave us wins in our last 4 games and went for the favourites to win all the other 28 games (with a couple of upsets, to make it realistic) and that left us 8th. And I didn't "manufacture" those other 28 games to suit Essendon. I legitimately selected who I thought would win (with the odd upset), and provided we did our bit by winning 4, that left us 8th.

In short, you never give up hope until that 12th loss of the season has happened

1. West Coast 18 4 0 2335 1807 72 129.2
2. Adelaide.... 16 6 0 2085 1639 64 127.2
3. St Kilda...... 15 7 0 2396 1885 60 127.1
4. Sydney...... 14 8 0 1921 1801 56 106.6
5. Geelong..... 13 9 0 2226 1985 52 112.1
6. Kangaroos.. 13 9 0 2084 2086 52 99.9
7. Bris Lions... 11 11 0 2286 2087 44 109.5
8. Essendon... 11 11 0 2097 2241 44 93.5

9. Port Adel..... 10 11 1 2006 2164 42 92.6
10. Fremantle... 10 12 0 2112 2067 40 102.1
11. W Bulldogs.. 10 12 0 2280 2339 40 97.4
12. Melbourne... 10 12 0 2191 2307 40 94.9
13. Richmond.... 10 12 0 1983 2190 40 90.5
14. Collingwood.. 7 15 0 1951 2317 28 84.2
15. Hawthorn..... 4 18 0 1851 2274 16 81.3
16. Carlton........ 3 18 1 1954 2569 14 76.0

so essendon needs just 4 wins from its last 2 games to make the 8.
