Latest Injury Update 25th June …

THERE are updates on four Carlton players leading into Round 16:-

Billy Wilson (knee)
  • Managing some knee soreness out of VFL game on Saturday
  • Availability: one week

Adam Cerra (hamstring)
- Availability: test

Jack Martin (calf)
  • Back in full training
  • Availability: two weeks

Matt Carroll (groin)
  • Making improvement in training loads, will continue to monitor his progress
  • Availability: indefinite

He been injured with us on 14 separate occasions..

3x1(2020) 4 block(2020)

1(2022) 4 block(2022) 6 block(2022)
11 block(2023)
8 block(2024) & 6 block(2024) so far
Since 2021 marchbank has played 14 vfl games.

That would be great news if true. Just let him build towards finals, imo he's our best option as the sub to come in for a quarter or a half. Cerra and Hewett ahead of Kennedy at their best imo.
My only concern is that with Doc and Kennedy out, IF we cop another midfield injury we are looking thin.

Next in this year has been Carroll but he's been off the pace and makes our midfield weaker.

There isn't really anyone else though...I'd almost prefer Cinc playing as a core mid if it happens but not sure he has much practice at centre clearances.

To be honest I think Elijah and ZWill will be fit enough late in the season to take on a more midfield centric role for the team if needed. Lets hope thats not needed and they can continue dominating in the positions they are.
