I doubt we'd interview every candidate just once. Don't underestimate how much work the club would be trying to get done.
Other clubs are looking for head coaches too. We want to lock down the best available ASAP.

they could be interviewing behind closed doors via video link for preliminery interviews. This would avoid distractions from the media.

Did I read somewhere that clubs had to wait til after the season...And had to approach the clubs CEo first ?
I don't believe one candidate would have progressed through two rounds of interviews and others have yet to be formally interviewed.
This is not how recruitment happens. You assess candidates equally, methodically, incrementally, with all candidates being interviewed in a
structured timely manner ideally with in a relatively close timeframe.
my father knows one of the ex board members and they were chatting recently. Ex board member had this to say:
-Gibbs has gambling problem and is/or is supposed to be seeing a counsellor.
-Henderson is a hypochondriac and the players are getting sick of this attitude
-rich power brokers still causing disunity

Second time this has come up here. Not good, definitely seems like something has troubled him this year. Hope he's getting all the help he needs and finds his way. The rest of the year off is probably good for him personally.
