clubs very quiet of lateAny word on what’s going on with Brad Lloyd? Heard we were into a couple of people to replace him, but seems to have gone a bit cold since
Its chronic…we’ll keep winding up that bird. I don’t know when it will stop.are we on a wild sheep chase??
The next rumor will look like 6-6-6-6-6-6 then.
SDK and maybe Bailey Smith would be the only 2 players worth 2 first round picks this trade period.SDK would be huge. SDK for a first rounder - 100%. For a first and a second - yep. For 2 firsts... that's a lot, we have other areas of need, maybe too much
SDK and maybe Bailey Smith would be the only 2 players worth 2 first round picks this trade period.
Both are young superstars that could take us to the next level.
The second part here would make sense with the first part here, playing on injections and underdone could explain his drop in form. Interesting.I don't KNOW if SDK wants out, but his family wasn't as happy with his treatment at Geelong as they have been with Tom's at Carlton. This is going back a year or so ago. He has played a lot on painkillers for a knee issue, I think. The family didn't like it. They were very supportive of TDK staying at Carlton. Terry is a mad Carlton fan, despite being an ex Bulldog.
SDK's form has been moderate for a while. Geelong will play hard to get, but it is conceivable he might be gettable. I'm not sure they are as excited by his potential as they once were...

Nope - no free agency at all, still a couple yrs away from thatAre we better off trying to pry SDK out of Geelong this trade period or try this time next year if he becomes uncontracted (would this be “restricted free agent” scenario)?
We’ll be trying to lure SDK with the incentive of playing with his brother, while the Cats will be making a play for TDK with the same rationaleAre we better off trying to pry SDK out of Geelong this trade period or try this time next year if he becomes uncontracted (would this be “restricted free agent” scenario)?
This just keeps getting better - where do we sign up to ship Pitto off to themSDK value has dropped this year compared to last year but he still retains high value based on being a KPP.
Pitto does represent good value for Cats and is an upgrade on a 34 year old Stanley.
Unless SDK wants out he’d be in their future given Blicavs’ expiry date is approaching and Kolo will be 30 next year
2025 will only be his 6th year so free agency status won’t come into affect. Are we better off trying to pry SDK out of Geelong this trade period or try this time next year if he becomes uncontracted (would this be “restricted free agent” scenario)?
Teams above us are getting better and we are getting nick HaynesIn regards to what?
We’ve finished the last three seasons 9th, 5th & 8th.
Let’s not be naive. We have half a dozen players who are elite. After that it drops away pretty rapidly.
Hawthorn & Brisbane may not have the starpower of our top 6 but the quality in their depth is far superior to ours.
We ain’t just lacking a little around the edges.
In free agency… trade period hasn’t even started yetTeams above us are getting better and we are getting nick Haynes
I'd trade him in a heartbeatThis just keeps getting better - where do we sign up to ship Pitto off to them
It’s a price we pay by having Charlie, McKay, Cripps, Walsh, Weitering, TDK, Williams, Cerra etc on our list.Teams above us are getting better and we are getting nick Haynes
