AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Got them to a prelim (although this team's style is trash for finals)There have been whispers of Butters with Ken about to get the ass
but he needs to share...Arr0w knows lots of things.
so pick 11 for Houston and Butters? There have been whispers of Butters with Ken about to get the ass
You're actually right. I've heard there's a few players unhappy with Voss, but Cripps & Voss are thick as thieves, Cripps is absolutely all in on him, borderline inseparable.
Carlton lose: Pick 11
Carlton gain: Houston
Port lose: Houston
Port gain: 11
GC lose: Lukoscious
GC gain: Port F1
That leaves Austin with lots of picks we have or get from Owies, Kennedy, Carrol, Young or from future picks, to trade back in to the 1st round this year.
Both GC and Brisbane will need to trade their 1st round picks in the teens due to academy bids, I also see Richmond being keen to move a later 1st rounder to next year to spread their draft hand.

Any of these players get the absolute best out of themselves this year?

Makes sense. Voss' brand relies on pressure and intensity and Cripps is one you can always count on for that. Get it more consistently from others and we will see better resultsWell, let's see.
The bloke who is backing in the coach 100000% just broke the Brownlow votes record, whilst the rest of the team combined didn't get half of that.
So, I doubt it!
Nah, I don't know specifics of which players, just heard Cripps is very aligned with Voss moreso than the players right now.
Houston officially requested trade back to VIC
Wow that's a huge list improvement they certainly will be a power next season if all trades are completed. Austin needs to be more aggressive and active.lukocious and (probably) perryman and (maybe) cumming to Port
They may need to move Houston on just to make room...
Going to be a massive off season league wide and the biggest name that could be on the move won't come out until after the GF (Not Carlton related )
Blues and Petracca news hit right after the rumours of his homecoming became public. Looked like it wasn't going to happen with Trac in play.I don't understand him coming out and saying a month ago he wanted to stay at Port.
Seemed weird then, seems weirder now.

Not saying we don't need to invest in the draft - clearly we do. It's just not an exact science after the first few picks, no matter how many resources are invested.Pretty sure clubs invest in resources to make informed decisions in this area.
We need to continue to invest in the draft and find players that will get us closer to challenging.

Is the celebration at the end an indication of something positive?
RB, is this a new player he’s “shaken loose” from another club or one we’ve been circulating in here so far?
