Carlton lose: Pick 11
Carlton gain: Houston

Port lose: Houston
Port gain: 11

GC lose: Lukoscious
GC gain: Port F1

That leaves Austin with lots of picks we have or get from Owies, Kennedy, Carrol, Young or from future picks, to trade back in to the 1st round this year.

Both GC and Brisbane will need to trade their 1st round picks in the teens due to academy bids, I also see Richmond being keen to move a later 1st rounder to next year to spread their draft hand.

That seems fairly likely. Though I could see Port getting Lukocious for unders since he has 2m left on his contract in the next 2 years. Maybe they get something back from GC this year.

Possible, but highly doubt we give up pick 11, most likely a F1

Any of these players get the absolute best out of themselves this year?

Well, let's see.

The bloke who is backing in the coach 100000% just broke the Brownlow votes record, whilst the rest of the team combined didn't get half of that.

So, I doubt it!

Nah, I don't know specifics of which players, just heard Cripps is very aligned with Voss moreso than the players right now.

Makes sense. Voss' brand relies on pressure and intensity and Cripps is one you can always count on for that. Get it more consistently from others and we will see better results

I don't understand him coming out and saying a month ago he wanted to stay at Port.

Seemed weird then, seems weirder now.
Blues and Petracca news hit right after the rumours of his homecoming became public. Looked like it wasn't going to happen with Trac in play.

Plus Port were entering a very anticipated finals series for the future of their club with Ken, Koch etc.

I understand it, but still a dumb thing to do.

Pretty sure clubs invest in resources to make informed decisions in this area.

We need to continue to invest in the draft and find players that will get us closer to challenging.
Not saying we don't need to invest in the draft - clearly we do. It's just not an exact science after the first few picks, no matter how many resources are invested.
