Are those ‘petracca brand’ burgers??
Searching back in this forum shows a few suggested him a year or two back due to VFL formFantastic news (.....quickly googles who the hell Ethan Phillips is)
Seems a barometer for us we look a lot better with him in our sideI think JSOS will surprise some people.
Either would be awesome, especially Wright, though his heart may no longer be in Footy, so Jimmy might be keener.Bartel or wright u would imagine
He's 25
Ah right. That's what I meant. The link makes sense.
If you cast your minds back, we were linked to Ethan Phillips a year or two ago when he was in the VFL playing for Port Melbourne.
But would he be an upgrade on Lewis Young? Bit of a risk - grass greener etcPretty clearly the best key defender in the vfl for several years. Gun interceptor. Great 1 on 1. Decent kick. Main knock on him was his speed and mobility.
Would take him as depth over Durdin in a heartbeat. At least he's available.
According to your logic you would never draft a single playerNo one in this draft is a known quantity at AFL level. Houston is the know quantity.
Has scope. Remember watching him for Port Melbourne in about 2018(ish), and thought he looked a natural. Whether that translates to AFL level, who knowsPhilips doesn't really excite...
He'll be a depth player and that's about it imo

Whatever it is the club will hold off to annouce it tomorrow right after the Pies beat Blues,"Houston heads to the Pies"?Bartel or wright u would imagine
We’re interested in Ethan Phillips from Hawthorn
Another of the same. Great VFL player, worthy of a list spot, should have played more for the Hawks this year but guess what? He was injuredPhilips doesn't really excite...

I think Young is good but lacks confidence. When he 'was it' when Weiters was out, he went pretty well.50/50. More upside I believe. Though I would keep Young on the list regardless. Been disappointing of late but provides depth in multiple positions.
Competition for spots is good.Hard to find a spot in the 22 for JSOS if Membrey comes in...

I want him to succeed and stay in the side but at the same time when he's 'got the yips' I cant bare to watch his disposal.
