Any word on compensation or just that he's heading that way?Yep - done deal
Already done - but I’m not across the details yet sorry.Any word on compensation or just that he's heading that way?
Seems like a weird choice for him though, they seem pretty set for inside mids at the moment, no?Love this for Matthew Kennedy. He’s clearly become an unrequired player at Carlton, so it’s good to see that he can continue his career elsewhere.
He’s just not that good - plays a dumb game too often.I heard that Saints were sniffing around Kemp several days ago but as nothing had come out thought it may have been rebuked.
It's not beyond the realms that Kemp may be looking to move though, was dropped quite a few times (and prior to the prelim) and may not feel assured of his future at Carlton.
Interesting.
Any idea who to and/or what for?Kennedy gone.
amazing if it is.Bye Chugga! Hope it was for 35!
Doggies - not sure what for yetAny idea who to and/or what for?
Hypothetical but if we get say a high 30’s low 40’s pick for Kennedy and then saints offer something irresistible for kemp. I’d then try to jump back in the ring for Houston somehow imoLong shot but if Austin lands either 7 or 8 for Kemp, I would package that pick and Kennedy for Smith and a pick coming back
Straight swap?& Daniel
Smith and Macrae out are big, both would have been their 3-4th rotation. Also, I thought Kennedy wants more mid time? Dogs have a strong midfield.
Although getting weaker in recent years. Dunkley, Smith, Macrae all leaving. Libba 30+. Also there mids aren't really the big slow types so maybe they can afford him in there more then us.
Big fan, but yeah not untouchable, but not cheap.Depends on the price we extract.
I love him but he's not untouchable.
MK was on shaky ground for AFL games at CFC in ‘25.Kennedy will go to the Dogs expecting more midfield time and find himself rucking like they did with Dunkley.
In all seriousness I don’t see him getting any more mid time with the Dogs than he did with us. He’ll be moved around the ground to plug gaps. I don’t see trading Kennedy benefitting us as we won’t get value for him and we lose dependable depth.
Im not sure how a plastics explosive home delivery service is somehow an ITK, but here we are
Where should he be used? I think he is a 3rd defender, but Gov is better at doing the same thing. We underrate him because he's almost aggressively been misused to cover a wonky LM strategy..
It's understandable that someone would see him as a cheap acquisition that has a bit of ability.
They are going to want to put time into Saunders. He pushed McCrae out of the side at the start of the year.Kennedy is a good fit for the dogs. With Libba having concussion issues, it really does give Kennedy the opportunity to cement his spot and for the dogs to manage Libba.
