I look at it the other way... the players we've traded out would NOT be in our next premiership side. We haven't lost anyone special. But we POTENTIALLY have gained someone special (pick 3)

Agree, by my count they have 4 players under the Age of 25 they can expect to be in their Best 22 long term.



And they won't be adding any more this year (or likely next, outside Mcguane)

He was saying that we gave up picks (12 or 14) that we could have used to trade for a two time AA (Houston obviously), but instead we made a trade to get Pick 3 in a deep draft. He was basically calling it bad trading.

It's pick 3 though, in a draft top heavy with mids.
Remember what his old man did the last time he took a mid at 3 lol
