I'm not holding my breath. If they got no leadership at all, they not going to be able to hide it, which then members will have every right to call for extraordinary meeting and vote of no confidence in them at all and go about removing them.
But if they show leadership in this period, cool too, as then will show they finally made of what we need, actual genuine leadership.

They just need to hold their nerve with Cerra unlike last year with Saad when they were bent over.
Cerra is long term player, much better option than Parker who is 29 in October, it is a non brainer to pursue Cerra at 21 vs a 29 year old Parker.

I agree with what you’re saying re the narrative, but when the coach’s manager definitively says his client won’t be coaching it’s nothing to do with media speculation.
If the path you lay out does eventuate, it would have been so much easier to simply relieve Teague of his duties to allow clear air for a new coach to be openly courted/interviewed - rather than this game of charades we are playing now.

They are not going to get two first round picks from any club, it is just not going to happen, fair value is approx 1st round pick 6-10 & a player e.g SPS.
Unless we are challenging for a premiership next year, why would we be interested in a 29 year old, keep building the list
