That's genius, that way we get him and his on the couch cronies to lay off the new coach for a year or so at least! If we can muster in Whately, Lyon, Timmy and King we'd have a good amount of breathing space to let the boys play without the added scrutiny.

No. Diesel is a part of the coach selection panel (as well as on board)
This could be how Bucks is involved. I could see him saying no to coaching (which he has done) but sitting on the selection panel as a favor to Sayers.
