Definitely wouldn't be against trading players out. We know Bevo prefers a makeshift ruck, and there will be little opportunity for him up forward. Just see him as gettable and someone of a need that would be a good fit.

It's interesting, was having a similar conversation this morning about English. While I haven't dismissed the idea, it would be difficult to get both Cerra and English done in the same trade period. I rate English, but for the cost, there would be others that I would target

The problem i have with all of this is as a Club we burn every individual that comes to us. I can't think of anyone we've poached that would say they've left feeling it was a positive experience. They come to Carlton with a big reputation, and leave with their careers in tatters. The leaking only fuels the feeling that the board is still factional and divided. If I had a successful career in administration in the AFL, no way would I go to Carlton

If you exclude the following, the then its not all that bad

Swann
Mick
Butters
Trigg
Bolton
Liddle
Hughes
Rogers
SOS
Lloyd
Bolton
Teague

Would definitely be hard to get Cerra and English done absolutely. But if it was possible I'd be trying to get it done. And would be more than happy to trade out a few players to get it done. TDK and English both talked about as generational rucks. Having both on the list would be phenomenal. Can always dream.

So we've heard various things about possible assistants - Harvey, McQualter, etc who are primarily midfield/transition/offensive coaches - has anyone heard anything regarding possible backline coaches to replace Amos?

Someone mentioned Dean Soloman had been sounded out by Lyon if he was to become senior coach.

Will definitely be on the outer when Darcy comes in. Bevo has basically said as much as he doesn't rate him in the ruck. And with Ugle-Hagan, Naughton and Darcy who'll be up forward suddenly his opportunities are limited. Definitely think he's gettable. Doubt it would take an early first.

Reckon you're misinterpreting Bevo's comments. If he's giving a player a public clip, it's not just to let opposition clubs know that said player is gettable - it's to challenge the player to step up their game. English won't be on the trade table cause of an 18yo Darcy coming in.

We're just not used to accountability around here

Brenton Sanderson could be a good option. Been at Collingwood under Buckley for a while, best mates with him. Former senior coach

On the outer? Didn't Beveridge say in the last week or 2 before a game that English is the most important player for them in regards to winning?

His performances are a barometer for them. At his best they win much of the time. When he plays poor his impact is negligible and they may as well have selected another player.

I'd prefer Brad over Chris... Despite how their coaching careers have gone

Id rather the club deregisteres itself than either

Seriously, if we sign Scott the board has to stop pretending anyone give a shit and board the place up
