The Fraser Brown tackle on Wallis is like Clarko and Sayers

Clarko determined to take a year off, baulks one way. He talks about professional development and travel, baulks another way. He can see freedom in front him, he can almost touch the oasis.

Sayers watches him closely, stands his ground. Watches Clarko going one way, watches him going the other. I am not going to let you get past, he thinks. And then, BAM! Sayers grabs Clarko, throws him to the floor and gets him to sign the contract.

Is Gia actually good? I know he's a really good guy but unsure of his status as a coach.

My ex worked at the Bulldogs cafe while she was at uni, she would've been 19 when he was 19 - she knew a few of them by first name but not Marcus. Anyway, she was taking orders and she's like "Your name please" and he laughed, and he's like "Don't pretend you don't know who I am" to which, Gia walked over and immediately reprimanded Bontempelli, told him he'd done nothing yet and to drop the ego.

Obviously, Bontempelli was just a kid at the time, so I don't think the Bont is a w***er based off of that - but Gia showed class and maturity to not only stick up for a cafe girl, but showed excellent leadership qualities by stamping out egos.

That reminds me a bit of Bolton.

I remember in the first episode of "The Journey" when he was taking the 2015 draftees to Tassie. He was talking about how they would shake hands and thank everyone they met.

Everyone piled on the bus at one point and he made them all get off and get back on and introduce themselves to the driver properly.

Really loved how he was trying to ground the playing group and teach them to respect everyone they met.

Indecision is not a good indication we'll get him?

But we only know it's 'indecision' because the media says so. He's just finished up with a major role at a club in the finals. he would be crazy not to take a couple of weeks break, which would happen in any major organisation. My hunch is that he is either definitely coming and is having a short sabbatical. Or he's not coming at all. I'm not big on the 'indecision' argument. (Although I just realised that what I've written may appear indecisive)
