Parks - feel he has reached his ceiling as a player and it's not high, may want to re-rookie as an absolute flyer but not bothered if not
Newnes - solid contributor but not adding anything long term, hopefully this means we are more confident on Cerra, not sure.

Boyd one is strange - he’s played 5 minutes of VFL footy for us, have we suddenly now a surplus of lockdown small defenders? Is he injury prone? Attitude?

All the more concerning that we hadn't identified any of these things prior.

I know he has been an unpopular player with supporters but based on output I think Newnes is unlucky.

I know he’s no major loss but I thought he was a solid contributor. As others have mentioned hopefully this means we get one more look at LOB on a wing.

I like Parks but that’s the nature of rookie lists, it’s pretty cutthroat. Hopefully gets another chance.

Re rumoured delistings. That's where we are at now. Most have shown something or haven't had enough time to show something.

Parks battling Plowman and Kemp for that 3rd defensive medium tall spot. Looked good in his first couple of AFL games in terms of effort. All at sea after that. Even the later VFL games I saw, he looked a long way off it.

Newnes isn't the future, just a placeholder in the side and 2021 was fairly average for him.
