Haven’t seen much of Lipinski but that analysis is what a quarter of Carlton supporters would say about Cripps if he said he wanted to go else where. I might dig a bit further back to get a better idea of what they think of him as a player.

Most likely with all the journalist views changing that Clarkson might be in the running there were bets put on and the volume would have made them suspend the betting market to see if something hasn't happened to cause all that price movement.

Recruitment guys are going to have their work cut out trying to get Cerra and Lipinski in the door without a coach lined up. Might need to speed up the selection process. I'm suggesting a speed dating type of arrangement where all potential coaches turn up and we do a quick whip around.

Crazy idea but maybe the offer is to play for Carlton. If that ain't good enough, **** off. Bit of the ghost of Brent Crosswell around the place at times.

I'm curious on the love for Yze. Where does it come from? What's the evidence that he's the next big thing? Not denying it, just wonder how the reputation comes about. I don't know much about him other than the fact that a lot of people pump him up.
Pretty sure Teague was very well regarded in the coaching fraternity prior to his HC gig with us and is reportedly in the sights of a few clubs to jump straight back into an assistants role if he wants to.

Spent a long time under Clarkson - was credited with being one of the reasons they became such an elite kicking team (particularly when he was goalkicking coach). He then moved to defence and then strategy at the Hawks. His move to Melbourne has aligned with their improvement in 2021 and he has senior coach aspirations (he applied for the Adelaide job a few years back).

Apparently you get to bring your mates in as the assistant coaches for the day too.

Lipinski is a handy player, averaged 22 touches from 14 games in 2019 when given a bit more midfield opportunity.

Dunno, I feel he would improve our list but probably not worth a heap in terms of a trade. Upgrade on Fogarty (who incidentally would also look a much better player if given more midfield time).

Someone has offered him a significant contract - you don't knock back a three year deal unless there is a better offer with a promise of more game time. Of course, as with every player we have been linked but I doubt we can guarantee him the contract or the role he is seeking.

I’ve heard from a reliable source that Clarkson may still be our coach for next year. He’s apparently reconsidered whether he wants to coach next year in the recent days. A meeting is being organised with the board for next week.
