Please stay away from Lipinski.

The classic too good for VFL / fringe of a good side but not good enough to make a difference in a poorer team.

Also if people think carrying LOB makes us soft, we would lose way too much in the competitiveness stakes at the coal face having all of Lipinski, Cerra (who is also not a competitive beast), Dow, Fisher, SPS, LOB. Not criticising them - you don't need every player to be a Ollie Wines, far from it - just that it'll put the balance out of whack even further when we should actually be trying to correct it the other way.

Recruitment guys are going to have their work cut out trying to get Cerra and Lipinski in the door without a coach lined up. Might need to speed up the selection process. I'm suggesting a speed dating type of arrangement where all potential coaches turn up and we do a quick whip around.

Our offer for Martin was a pick in the mid to late 20s, in a year the GC were handed generous draft concessions and where GC could threaten to redraft him.

Theres a big difference making a faux stand, when you will lose a pick in the mid 20s, compared to throwing away pick 6 and your clubs chance to take two top 10 picks.
