Sydney haven’t offered him a contract as it stands. Their cap is extremely tight. I think this one will go through relatively smooth.

you mean...........?Not sure but as he nominated our club, I have to think he really wants to play for us.
Pretty sure that we won't have to worry about it. Be very surprised if this isn't already sorted and George becomes a blue on Monday. No, we committed to making him a Blue for 2022.
When we did that, we would have known the risks associated and the chances that Sydney might match the bid. We'd have prepared for every possibility on that front.
Swans committed to let him go as a free agent. I would argue you can't treat mid tier players like that, haggling over compensation. They will get his value based on the contract offer which is what he is worth. No, we committed to making him a Blue for 2022.

Umm am i missing something
There is nothing special about Hewitt
His averages are worse than Kennedys
Wore a helmet. I don’t trust players who wear helmets. Delist
Go check his stats out on the afl page he you think otherwise

Hewett has had to play off the half back at times and not as a full time mid. But when in there he plays a very defensive role which we clearly lack. In my opinion the perfect player to complement our more attacking midsUmm am i missing something

It's S.HartI'll start the negativity.............way too short..........next...........
What sort of evil am I??You just made Rod Ashman cry.
Im not saying he wouldn't be handy if we get him for nothing but no way i would trade for himHewett has had to play off the half back at times and not as a full time mid. It's Hewett not Hewitt.
yes, yes, but..............destination?Sometime I mean what I say. But other times I don't mean what I do.
Reason why I asked is there doesn’t seem to be any animosity, lack of opportunities or Ill will towards the Swans, just a financial and career decision due to the Swans cap issuesNot sure but as he nominated our club, I have to think he really wants to play for us.

Would only take trade radio as a very very rough guide towards the truth.Having heard that interview, I couldn’t help thinking he might make an effective list manager; at least insofar as exuding confidence in his ability to control and communicate list related stuff.
As much I enjoyed SOS’s interactions with Justin Reid, listening to JR the other day on TR, left me thinking CFC might benefit from a hard nosed LM such as him. Lucas might be even better.
We’ve effectively got 3 LM right now. Hearing talk on TRadio over last few days about CFC’s supposed lack of cap space is bit concerning.
Yep, averages are all that matter. Tom Mitchell is the best player in the comp and Jimmy Plunkett was one of our best ever midfielders.Umm am i missing something
