Legacy of an amazing CEO.
Something to look forward to with us.

Sell the ethos, have a standard for all players to understand. Everyone buys in, signs fair contracts and craves success above all else.

Tom Hawkins and Joel Selwood are fantastic examples on this. Hawkins could earn more as an Uber eats driver next year than he will from the cats.
Plus sellwood, Higgins, Dalhouse retire which apparently saves them $1.1 mill.

Sure but we lose or lost Jones, Stocker, likely Dow and/or Setters etc.
I think we should also look at trading silvagni whilst he has some currency..maybe get a 2nd rounder for him who knows . I would get Mitchell in from Hawks to give us more experience in midfield since we are a little injury prone in that area ...trade both dow and setterfield for best possible outcome

What do people think Tarryn Thomas would command salary cap wise? Be a minimum of an early first rounder if a trade came about

So whats our plan if 2 of our core midfield get injured, who steps up outside of Dow and Setterfield, we should really be aiming to keep one in my opinion.

We are planning on keeping Setterfield. He's uncontracted so the decision rests with him.

With the addition of Acres, we can have Walsh go to the centre where required. Still hope for Cunners and Carroll.

When he plays 1 more game, then talk this gutter talk.

Now go and wash your mouth out

Geez Barrett is dickhead. Banging on about how we’re paying Charlie, Harry and Cripps $1m or thereabouts per season. As if he’d even know. And isn’t the narrative that they boys are taking more than unders to stay together?
Half of them have publicly stated that they've taken unders to stay together Geelong style. Barrett is a knob who's salty his beloved North are an absolute rabble.

While Austin didn't go into detail when asked about the contract values, he hinted that all signings are in alignment with the "TPP Strategy".

You'd have to trust that the boys believe they're brewing something special here and that there'd have to be some sacrifices to keep everyone together.

We should just get rid of our list management team and hire Cornes and Barrett - they seem to be experts when it comes to our salary cap and managing it

No eyebrows raised by Barrett, Cornes and Co about how Geelong are going to fit Bowes in their cap?

;)

Fish, Williams, Martin and Doc say hi too.

Fish and Martin are clearly destined to remain on the HF.

Williams clearly hasn't set the world on fire in the centre and will likely stay HBF.

Doch needs to remain in Docherty. Good for a few plays here and there but that should be it.

He ridiculous. Then drags sos into it to try and convince him to agree and then start talking about what Sam Walsh would be on and Zac Williams. Shut up already Damo. Wank.

As you say they’ll never question the Geelong cap, and if it’s above board good on them, but we’ll always be scrutinized.

I'd look to trade silvagni

We already have a phsych and Russell is big on the mind games side of the game.

We have it covered, like we have the experience gap covered.

What we don’t have covered is continuity of availability for large parts of the list, it absolutely cruelled us this year.

If we had the mental side of things covered we would have won one of the last 2 games. For instance they do not explain Owies missing a 15m pass or Curnow not taking the ball and running into an open goal You can not rely on durability and continuity to win games of football. Great sides have the mental application to win with a long injury list.

Hearing the Bulldogs list manager talking about how excited they are to get Liam Jones from a cultural and leadership perspective given the quality of a person he is. Makes me really sad again that we are missing out on him. Jones would have been a difference maker this season when Weitering was gone and he will be a difference maker at Western Bulldogs. Sad to see him go.

no one said they'd play all game on ball, but 20-25% - easy.
