Swap future 2nd for current 2nd doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but I'm sure they've got reasons. Reasons.
We must players earmarked as tradeable next year - players that have trade value, but we are ok with them leaving - otherwise, we’ll only have RD1 & then RD4+ :straining:

Love this time of year, apparently Bailey Smith is coming to us
I put him in the same bracket as Degoey

pretty sure whitfield has 4 or 5 years left at about $1M per year. Even if it’s less, say $900k, that’s still huge money.

He’s 28 now, so that’s taking him to 32/33. How long do you want to extend him to bring that figure down?… crazy
They might be willing to pay some of it. Or he might agree to a reduced contract (unlikely, I know).

I am sure they will get to Geelong somehow:rolleyes:

They will all play for minimum wage, it's all about lifestyle at Geelong mate.

Salary cap doesn't apply because everybody plays for nothing to be near the beach.

Selwood on way unders when cap is being counted (not even in top 100 players allegedly), although when he retires they have a spare million in the cap to chase young guns.

But don't worry, its all about the lifestyle. Me thinks there's more lifestyle at Geelong than a swingers convention.

His defensive pressure is great too. Comes from nowhere to lay tackles, blocks for teammates. Good overhead.

Can’t think of a better fit if we can wrangle an earlier pick.

I think North will opt for Wardlaw.

If I was Dodoro I’d bring in Cadman, but Sheezal is a type of player he loves.

Hopefully are looking at other options.
Wouldn't be surprised if North end up with 2 as well as 1. WCE might get involved in a 3 team trade with Port and North if they can split 2 into 2 or 3 good picks.

North will end up with pick 1 and 2 in this draft and still retain their future 1st

Imagine having the top two picks in the draft and not having the best player in the draft available to you.

Madness.
