Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

My Team votes of interest (although Early days):
Centrebet Odds

Ess: Hille (6) $9.00, Watson (6) $2.35
Wbd: Griffen (6) $10.00, Cooney (6) $4.00
Port: Rodan (7) $7.00 (next best Pearce on 4)
Adel: Douglas (6) $4.25 (next best Mcleod on 2)
Stk: Hayes (10) $3.50 (next best Volt/Montagna on 5)
Carl: Judd (11) $1.60 (next best Murphy on 4)
Freo: Pavlich (14) $5.00 (next best Barlow on 10)
NM: Harvey (8) $1.75, Wells (7) $14.00

Hille shortened from $41 last week, Douglas wasn't even in crows favourites and is now 2nd fave. Hayes favourite after being $7 last week! Judd is value at 1.60, if TAB come out with odds like that I'll throw him in majority of my multis. Also think Pav is great value, and unsure as to why Wells went from $7 to $14 this week.

Just my thoughts. :)

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I was about to say that BK's local tab is shutting early today
As soon as I saw the word that the TAB had gone up with team votes my immediate thought was oh no, I'll get no sleep tonite and then will need to spend the day in the TAB putting on multis tomorrow.
Does anyone know if the ACT TAB does multis on the team votes ? If so it might be worth a trip to Canberra. Can you put bets on with ACT TAB anywhere outside of Canberra other than the internet ?

I'm with ACTTAB, & did team multi's last year. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're allowing them this year. I think the reason is that this year saw them end their agreement with tabcorp and make a new one with centrebet .... so I think they're offering centrebets odds + rules in respect to the brownlow, and of course everything else.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Did all my bets with TAB Sportsbet and found that some markets were shorter. Centrebet has better odds in general, but sometimes (probably 20-25%) TAB actually have better odds.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I think Selwood at $81 looks massive value atm..

Also Boyd at $41, massive value, Cooney is into $15 and for
the life of me I cannot understand why he is soo short.

Ablett looks to have tappered off a touch and I thought he
looked sore after last weeks game, still, he is a champion and
his disposal and willingness to take the game on - stand out.

Judd had a week off, but regardless of his poor disposal, he will
still be getting votes - he does an enormous amount of work and
lifts his side, being a captain will help his chances also.

Roughie - Lenny Hayes, polled well last year and definately has the
numbers to stack up this year, should be on at least 10 votes.

massive fan of hayes he polled well the last 2 years, ablett looks sore might explain why he spent limited time in the middle at the gabba the other week but true champion although back to back brownlows r hard to get no matter how good u are, harvey the last to do it since god knows when also just gettin 2 is difficult goodes and williams the only others in at least 30 years lenny might be a bit like scotty west though

i backed chappy(51/1) into pav for the coleman and cats for the flag at 714/1 bit wishful but who knows

Can't get enough on. My method is to go to the TAB and slide thru heaps of the same ticket multiple times and catch them napping.
It's also anonymous which comes in handy if you have a big win etc. so they don't bar you in subsequent years etc.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Get on the Hayes train fully fit and carrying the Saints as well as a proven vote getter
Couldn't agree more, he's the value at the moment and the one to get on at the value at the moment.
Judd, Ablett, Hayes all up there again I reckon but a long way to go so we need to keep searching for the value which is definately not G Ablett.

wow, Walker your last rounds votes were almost identical to mine!

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I already have Scotland on 3 votes so I resisted giving him more and went with another hawk (Roughhead)

Roughead had a pretty poor game. I'm fairly sure that the 1 vote would likely go to Osborne, Brown, Burgoyne before Roughead.

I'd be pretty confident Roughead got 0 votes this game.

Was fairly inaccurate but kicked a nice 50m goal that sunk us. Was thinking Osbourne too though, (didn't rate Brown/Burgoyne's games).

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I'm on the Hodge wagon. Been super so far this year. $25 for the win, $25 a place at $17. Was $21 before the Carlton game.

I think I'm one of the few with Hodge not up there. I've got him on 6, doesn't poll well generally and hawks have been terrible. The place at 17 is possible if Hawks get a run on I guess.

True, if they go on a run and make finals it will better my chances. Only 2 Brownlow winners from the last 20 or so years came from teams that didn't play finals i think. So odds stacked well against me if the Hawks don't make it. :D
