Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Went

3. Goddard
2. Riewoldt
1. Milne

Umpires don't like Milney, well no one likes milney but they can't ignore the massive game he had tonight, so I'll give him 1 vote. Goddard and Riewoldt the obvious stand outs, with Montagna a possible chance to sneak in a vote.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I reckon that last night will be Goddard, Milne, Riewoldt in any order. Riewoldt 2 mmax though due to margin.
Don't know why people haven't lobbed on Watson at $126 to win the medal. Everyone seems to have him high up on their leaderboards so he represents v good value.
I jumped into him and expect him to tumble in if he plays a big one on the weekend.
BTW I reckon he's on 7-10 now.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

3. Houlihan
2. Judd
1. Bruce

Houlihan BOG for mine, Judd was awesome in the last quarter will definetly poll.

3. Edwards
2. Barlow
1. Thompson

Edwards shoo-in for 3 votes in fair well game, barlow and thompson will battle it out for the 2 and 1, Barlow was better imo.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

WCE vs Geelong
Chapman 3
Byrnes 2
Waters 1

I thought Chapman was disgraceful today with all his whinging but he'll absolutely get 3 votes. Ablett didn't have enough impact on the game to get on the scoreboard, despite 2 goals. Not to mention, a lot of his touches came at the end.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

For what its worth my votes so far -

3.Goddard
2.Milne
1.Riewoldt

3.Edwards
2.Thompson (may snag the 3)
1.Barlow

3.Houlihan
2.Waite
1.Judd

No love for waite? would be very surprised if he didnt poll at least 1 vote. Houlihan clear BOG though.

3.Johnstone (only lost by 1point he led the surge 37 possies and 16 marks inhuman effort)
2.Swallow
1.Harvey

Could raffle Swallow/Harvey for the 1 and 2. Swallow just for me, although after looking at stats Harvey may snag him.

3.Chapman
2.Byrnes
1.Bartel

No one else has Bartel as votes? he was awseome first 3 qtrs and was no 1 clearance player on ground.
(waters very unlucky but his effiecentcy was horrible)

I expect the TAB to put up a half way odds option during the coming week. It will be the first thing we can bet on where the votes can't be changed.
Ablett will no doubt be odds on but good value anyone else I reckon.
It looks like Ablett, Judd, Hayes all miss votes this weekend although Judd may be some sneaky chance based on his Q4.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

13 - Ablett
12 - Pendlebury
11 - Judd, Boyd
10 - Barlow, Montagna, Hodge
9 - Bartel
8 - Brown, Swan, Watson, Dal Santo, Murphy, Hayes, J.Bolton, Chapman, Swallow, Goddard.

A bit more Joey, Pendles and Boyd love than a few others here. I agree with BK, will be tight at the top come round 11 IMO, should be some good value. As for the winner, have to be on Pendlebury this year surely.
