Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Are there any online agencies left that allow team multies in Brownlow betting?

I took Centrebet to the tune of almost $8000 (Thanks Hayes/Lecras) last year, but this year they do not allow you to multi them up.

TBH I think its a 2 horse race at this stage been Judd and GAJ.

He scares alot of ppl. Heres hoping Pendles, Didak, Thomas will steal votes off him. Does deserve it though.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Judd/geelong flag/coll over 15.5 (round 21)
Judd/coll flag/coll over 15.5

150 on each will give around 7000 return.

however can i multi collingwood winning in rd 21 and them winning flag? sais i can on website but then again on website it allows me to multi geelong flag with geelong to reach grand final. Ill guess ill find out when i get to the TAB

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

After extensive analysis I have come to the conclusion that Judd is a certainty to win the medal this year. I have been backing him heavy this week and managed to get on him prior to last round at 60-1 for the Judd/Geelong multi. I'm going to continue backing him heavy even on single bets. Judd@ $4.20 for a place is great value and I would encourage great sums of money to put on this bet.
Geelong is also highly likely of winning the premiership with Collingwood a minor threat. Judd into Geelong is by far the value bet at this stage.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Just had a quick look back at my count.

In my count judd polled 20 (3 behind leader) but i only gave him BOG in 3 games. His polling hist. can certinatly give him alot more BOG then i accounted for. Im getting excited for a judd victory atm like most people on here.

Word is TAB will offer them at the end of Rd 22. Well done on last year, I also got on Hayes + Le Cras but also Vince & some other H2H's that came through, was a good night.

Can't wait to see what H2H's & groups they offer this year as there's often some great potential anchors amongst them.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

If you go through history of the recent ages how many brownlow medal winners come from outside the top 4?
Their are guys in here trying to justify Judd getting 2 in round 6 against collingwood, i will bet 10,000 that he will not poll, his 7 turnovers of his first 10 disposals assisted collingwood into that 40 point lead. Some guys in here are really biased and it doesnt help trying to pick a brownlow medal winner, you would assume guys from collingwood )pendles and swan, and geelong leaning towards selwood would have the best chance of winning the game as their team has been part of the most victories throughout the year pls correct me if im wrong, but i see judd no chance for the medal this year

WOW you sir are a genius

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Starting to look like there is too much Judd love here now. I think he is in a great position to win it but we should consider what might happen this week. I reckon blues are gonna get smashed which means he gets no votes this week. If Hodge pulls off a BOG he potentially will be right up there again. Likewise Selwood, Ablett or Pendlebury. We all have our phantom polls on where everyone is at atm, might be better if we can try to predict the vote getters this week and predict where everyone may be positioned next week. Things change substantially from one week to the next. I dont think Judd will poll this week is all Im saying and a few others might come into it this time next week. Hodge & Selwood might be value this week.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Original charge was 125pts (over 100 points before the discount) therefore not eligible now to win the brownlow

 youd think they would take him out of all markets in that case (i don't doubt your interpretation). hopefully selwood does front in that case, looks like he will be playing with flu.

He can still win the most team votes etc, the only market he shouldn't be in, is the outright winner of the medal.

Haven't checked all betting sites, which markets is he still in?

It is the same points that Dustin Martin got earlier in the year, 125 reduced to 93.75 - Martin can not win the NAB rising star for the same reason, Chapman can not win the medal.

I wouldn't count Judd out, I don't think anyone could justify that. As I've said before, you don't have to be the best player in the league to win the medal. You just have to be the best in comparison to the other players on the field. Judd has very little competition for votes (Simpson and Murphy the only ones remotely close), whereas Ablett has Selwood, Bartel, Chappy and others. Pendlebury and Swan have eachother, as well as minor threats such as Didak, Thomas, Beams and recently Wellingham due to his silky skills. This plays into Judd's hands significantly.

Without researching, I would say majority of Brownlow Medal winners would come from the top 4 but that shouldn't influence your decision on who you think will win. Every year is different, of course being a top team helps, but that usually means more competition for votes.

I'm the only one, from memory that's posted my breakdown of votes for Judd. I think he will receive two votes, even though losing by 50 odd points makes it difficult he was eye-catching and he is Chris Judd. This has nothing to do with being biased, I'm a Richmond supporter and after he has been charged for eye-gauging and deliberately elbowed Pavlich in the face I have little respect left for him and have no reason to give myself false hope with votes months back when I've only recently put money on him.

Chris Judd was the last player to win the Brownlow from outside the top 4, WC ended 8th in 2004.

I will have a dollar on Judd polling votes in Rd 6 against Collingwood, BS 7 of his first 10 disposals were turnover - He had 6 Clangers on the day, how is that possible?
His disposal efficiency was 68%, he had 37 touches of which 18 were contested, 11 clearances, 10 inside 50's

I think I might have $2 on it now - He will poll in this game.

Someone hasn't told centrebet then. Still $151 to win it.
