Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

The umpires have lost all the votes while attending a OPSM sponsored concert featuring Third Eye Blind, stevie wonder and blind melon. The police also featured with their hit song "dont stand so close to me"

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

i didnt think Boyd was that good tbh. i was thought Cross was good, winning hard balls and free kicks and using it well. Gilbee linking runs and good use of the ball stood out too, and the best forward on the ground was Gia by far, so i went:
3. D. Cross
2. L. Gilbee
1. D. Giansiracusa

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

thanks im blind :(
pretty ordinary odds by the good ole TAB

Centrebet is also open now, Barlow in to $12 over there.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Need help with the Richmond game, missed it all. Seems to be split between Newman, Deledio, Cousins, Martin. Maybe i'll have to find a way to watch it. :thumbsu:

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Has anyone checked the updated odds on centrebet?

Huge movements. I was looking at Winderlich prior to this round as a value bet, if he had a big second half of the year. But not anymore. He was $21-1 and is now 2.60-1!.

So stupid that Jobe is 2.20 and Winderlich is 2.60.

Only managed to catch that game from HT onwards, but Deledio and Martin were both very good. They'd have to figure in the voting i'd say.

BigPond Video (www.bigpondvideo.com) will have it.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Jesus Judd was lucky to get off for that elbow. Would have been nice to be able to rule him out of the equation.

Just an observation mate. It seems like you may be focusing on the 'big name' players a little too much. With that leader board above it looks as though about 10 players will get to 20 votes for the year. It may happen but IMO it looks like you need to spread your votes out a little more and not just look for the guys you subconciously want to give votes to.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Contrary of what some might have you believe, Judd has had a great
year, considering he missed 3 games - I think he would be near leading.

But, thats the upside for Judd, he has made ground, his strike rate
would be having him winning, regardless of games missed.

Downside is, Judd looks to of slowed in the past few weeks.
He looks sore, break will do him good - but his rolled ankle wont.
When your tagged as hard as Judd is, even a slight niggle will set
you back.

Hodge looked sore last game aswell, but that looked an injury that he
ran through and clearly had a great last quarter, the break will definately
do Hodge good, he looks to have massive massive upside in the last half
of the year - if you rate the Hawks chance for the flag, throw Hodge in
for doubles, because if the Hawks make the top 4, it will only be because
of Hodge.

Im up in the air about where Abletts at atm, history says that he responds
very well after a week off, but he will only be where his team lets him be.
And thats a big question mark.

Goddard, Hayes, Del Santo, Montagna, hard to believe one out of those
lads can poll individually enough to get above 20, they are all such
quality players who have an influence, surely stealing votes.

Barlow wont poll early, its wishful thinking.
Pavlich will, he is a massive chance, massive.
Im going to throw the house on Pav winning Freos tally.
likewise Pendelbury for Collingwood.

Im probably completely off the mark, but thats where I see it atm.
