Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

TAB have just put prices up :

Swan $3.50 ( unders IMO )
Ablett $5 ( Ditto but maybe not way unders )
Hodge $8 ( value now ? )
Judd $13 ( big overs, should be $5 or so after 2 BOG's )
Pendlebury $17 ( overs, Gary Davies obviously doesn't mind the idea of getting sacked if he wins ! )
Hayes $26 ( amazing odds again )
Selwood $26 ( ditto really as he could have got 1-3 on weekend )

Pretty much the 6 with a chance (I give Pendles no chance but for the sake of our collective thoughts I'll keep him there).

Hopefully one of Judd/Hayes/Selwood wins it, they are all great value there. Swan rightly favourite but still doesn't mean he's going to win. 2 roudns left! :D

pretty amazing, isn't it? I have Tippett on 3 votes and give him absolutely no chance to win Adelaides. I'm really happy he played outstanding on the weekend so hopefully thompsons odds can hover or increase slightly :)

I have Tippett on 6 but he really can't be any higher. Douglas I have on 9 and I think will be guranteed 8. Thompson on 11 but could be as high as 13. Still, Thompson was 2 clear last year until Vince got the 3 in Round 22, they won't beat Collingwood though and I highly doubt they will beat StKilda so really the votes are about set now ans Thompson should be safe.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I've decided that Judd is the one that is overs. Look out for headlines in Wednesday's paper that the " Pie Fan " has now loaded up the Judd - Coll double. I already have Judd for plenty into Geel and StK so need to balance up and I reckon he's the one that is real value now.

:thumbsu::D

Nice BK, I'm thinking of hitting Judd/Coll and Judd/Geel as well, not as hard as you of course ;)

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I'm stuck with nothing on Gazza. They have Carl and then WC at Skilled where Gazza will get 40+ and probably kick 5 !!!!

Ablett played midfield exclusively on Saturday(from what I saw on TV)... this hasn't happened for many, many weeks... and is very important here. Ablett's domination early in the season was again when he was only playing midfield and not sitting in the goal square for 1/3 of the game. Obviously the loss to Collingwood sparked some changes, this was one of them.

If Thompson has this in mind for the last 2 rounds, and Geelong retain their punishing mood(likely against Blues/Eagles), Ablett is good for another 3-5 votes IMO.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Did someone just smash Judd on sportsbet? There is no brownlow market?

I want to throw 50 on Judd e/w into cats making gf

Re: Brownlow Medal

Hmm, not a great week if you are thinking of most team votes.

Thompson has to be a slight risk at Adelaide now with Tippet and more importantly Douglas both probably polling the 2 and 3.

Goddard will likely get 2 votes, to make it real close between him and Lenny.

Port's almost impossible to pick

Judd is almost unbackable now

Hmm........

I agree however there is still 2 rounds to go, thompson you would think would hang in, as long as no adelaide players get votes for the next 2 rounds. Hopefully the 2 rounds will seperate St.Kilda and hopefully port/melbourne can snag a win.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Can anyone offer up some thoughts on Adam Selwood to get most votes for WC?

I've got him tracking at 5 currently - equal with Priddis, but at $16 i'm really liking Selwood!

Could be the big multiplier of 2010...thoughts?

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Where's LeCras?

I have him two behind Priddis, one good game and he's equal fave for mine. $6+ is awesome.

Gia would have to poll extremely well to get 14, Boyd and Cooney way out ahead. My top three at each club is below. Boak still huge value IMO - stay away from port in multis, but the $11 on offer is worth something straight out.

Adel - Thompson 11, Douglas 9, Johncock 6
Bris - Brown 10, Rischitelli 8, Black 6
Carl - Judd 22, Murphy 9, Gibbs 7
Coll - Swan 21, Pendlebury 19, Didak 14
Ess - Watson 13, Winderlich 7, Hille 6
Frem - Barlow 14, Sandilands 12, Mundy 9
Geel - Selwood 20, Ablett 20, Bartel 14
Haw - Hodge 19, Mitchell 12, Rioli 9
Melb - Sylvia 9, Moloney 8, Davey 7
NM - Harvey 14, Swallow 12, Wells 6
Port - Boak 9, Pearce 8, Cassisi 7
Rich - Deledio 7, Tuck 7, Riewoldt 6
StK - Hayes 17, Montagna 16, Goddard 13
Syd - Goodes 12, Bolton 10, Jack 7
WB - Boyd 17, Cooney 14, Giansiracusa 11
WCE - Priddis 9, LeCras 7, Naitanui 5

I had $7000 on the Judd-Coll double at 4 pm today. Judd was $13 and the Pies $3.

Amazing odds Judd IMO, I now have him very solid into Coll, Geel and StK.

I jumped on Swan-Coll before last week's game and now really only have Ablett as the risk. I'll do some sums and may see that if I load up on Gazza that I've banked a nice profit ( risking Sandilands, Goddard and to some extent Selwood ).

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Anyone else have Jack high in their Swans count? I have him with 4 BOGs on 12, and Goodes on 14. Not seen in Centrebet's top 7 Sydney players tho. Maybe I am being a bit generous for someone who has never really proven he can poll against someone like Goodes who can poll a vote for showing up..

Also James McDonald from the Dees in the first half of the year was very good in some of their wins, yet isnt in the betting for Melbourne's most votes.. I have him equal with Sylvia.

I also have Cassisi on 10, with Rodan next on 7 at Port. Clear value at $7.25.

I've only got Jack on 8 with only 2 BOGs and like you have Goodes leading on 14.
Port Adelaide is the hard one I've got Cornes on 9 with Boak on 8, then Roden and Cassisi both on 6.

I have him getting 3 in:

Rd5 - McVeigh 2, Malcho 1 (Bradshaw could figure with 6)
Rd6 - O'Keefe 2, Bradshaw 1
Rd19 - Goodes 2, Okeefe 1 (2 & 1 votes could easily go other way)
Rd20 - Hannesbury 2, Mumford 1

if hannebury doesn't get three in that game, something is very wrong. jack could get the 2, though.

Hannebery may have had 38 touches but he only had 1 inside 50 and 1 score assist.

Hardly a big impact on the game - good linkman game but just looking at prostats earlier Jack had a lot more clearances/first possessions so is a chance for the 3 along with Mumford who was probably more influential.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I gave LeCras votes in the wins against Dees and Hawks rounds 7 and 8. You're probably right, hasn't played as much midfield this year. Last year if he got decent possession numbers and kicked 4+ in wins he got votes. He's kicked 4 goals or more 6 times this year, but much less possession. Still has played well in those three wins and played a lone hand in a lot of losses.
