One thing missed in this whole debate is that Voss and Hird have suffered far worse career threatening injuries over the journey than Bucks. Hence they have slowed down earlier than Bucks has. The only injuries I can remember Buckley having was a broken jaw (1998-ish??) and his persistent hamstring injuries from 2004-5 (which was identified as a tendon tear and promptly fixed up). Voss and Hird have done what they've done under far worse physical duress. That's not Buckley's fault by the way, but that could partially explain Buckely's more "even" career.

Buckley 3 - How can you not be excited about Buckley. Ask Eddie Buckley is not exciting as Hird or Voss have been on their day, in fact no where near. Think back a couple of years when Pies were fav's on Anzac day and Hirdy kicked 5exciting goals. I can even recall Buckley switched play in defence only to have Hird steal the mark and goal.

Buckley is only underrated because a lot of people hate Collingwood. I hate them as well and hope Buckley does nothing on Monday but he is definitely equal with Hird and slightly ahead of Voss.

But the consistency Bucks has produced from the start of his career to now is better than pretty much any player ever. He still dominates games today and he is as old as the other two.

the 1st possies & clearance stats are the best indicators of which midfielders get the ball first, review them and u will fins that buckley ranks higher then voss in most years
