There have been 18 suspensions for dangerous tackles this year, I'd bet half of them the player tackled played out the game.

From just last round, Taylor Adams played out the game, Duggan suspended. Walsh played out the game, Parker suspended.

Honestly mate if it wasn't a Sydney player you'd stay in your box.

There was no concussion. It was a typical chase down tackle. His arm was free.

Dan Butler will play next week.

Couldn't just be a fan of the league discussing how they're adjudicating/punishing dangerous tackles (or not dangerous but suspending players anyway) this year, gotta be biased.

At this point I don't know what they expect players to do, that Butler tackle was executed fine. There was no slinging motion, he didn't dump Blakey in the tackle and there weren't two motions.

It's a contact sport, we just have to be smarter about not letting players back on or letting them continue to take part with obvious concussions.

Seems a bit different to other tackles that players have been suspended for, given it was a single motion and momentum carried him forward.
