Every year "trade Barlow" comes up. I remember when someone mentioned to trade Barlow because Viv Michie could fill his spot.

That was Silent Alarm Im pretty sure. As Barlow is contracted he would have to be convinced that moving onto a new club is in his best interest to prolong his career. If trading Barlow assists in the trade that brought McCarthy home then it should at least be considered.

Jeremy Cameron, Jon Patton, James Stewart, Adam Tomlinson even without McCarthy is better than what we have on our list now.

Their rucks aren't completely bare either. Mumford, Lobb and some other bloke that escapes me at the moment.

trades for players need to make sense. For players with contracts they need to be advantageous. De Boer would not get a game for them and will take up a list spot they do not have. He is not best 18 for us.

Happens all the time. Why would a player agree to be traded to a team that planned to play him in the reserves?

Suban would be lucky to get a game at any other club. He is worth a third rounder at best

Jet? Yes he has potential but as of now he is a way behind his draft class peers. And there is only one of them that is a jet. He has the potential to be a jet but in this discussion we would be trading for a potential jet who has shown more than croz so far. Dont want him to go but we need something to get these trades through. If Croz had the currency (i dont think he has) then we would trade him i think.

I'm not against trading him mate. I just figured it needed to be said that he has shown somehting and isnt just potential. One bad year doesn't mean he hasnt shown anything.
