Exactly. He is a decent player but no superstar. The problem is the argument on here always states he is terrible. Exaggerating his flaws to the point of absurdity.

Yep, probably got the fact you were implying he was terrible and you were being sarcastic. That is what I was responding too. I thought that was clear. My comment about me saying 'Im not even saying he is a gun' was to clarify that Im not saying he is a star player, but definitely a decent player. Again, I thought that was incredibly clear as well.

At the end of the day when other teams deliver the ball into the forward line better than Freo. Freo will struggle to win games and he is ine if the main culprits. So enjoy watching him continue to do that.

The reaction you get on here for saying a player who has never been dropped since coming to our side and has finished relatively highly in our best and fairest (in years we played finals) is just absurd. So yep Ill enjoy watching D.Pearce. He is actually one of the few players who seems to be turning their form around in recent weeks.

If we dropped every player who turned it over frequently this year we'd have about 3 players left, plus a bunch of rookies who don't get enough possessions for anyone to notice.
Nobody is saying Danyle is going to win a Brownlow, but as an outside player that we desperately needed and we picked up for a steal, he's pretty good. He's pacy, has good evasive skills and a long kick. He's not great at hitting targets - but then at least he can find the ball, unlike plenty of outside players.
