This season has benefited them with genuine home games. Had it the easiest after Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Yes it is true - Port has had 7 games in Adelaide this year. But it must be remembered that Port along with the Crows, West Coast Eagles and the Dockers were the first to join a quarantine hub outside of their home state, that is where they set the standard of the season and where they have performed most strongly against teams challenging for the top 8.

And as far as Adelaide Oval goes of their 7 games, only 3 of them (Saints/Bulldogs/Tigers) were against teams challenging for the top 8 - and they lost one of them (Saints) so it can hardly be seens as a huge leg up.

Richmond and St Kilda have had 5 games in Melbourne (4 at their home stadium) And Geelong and the Bulldogs have had 3 home games so the difference is not huge.

BTW - the Crows have 10 home games - the most by far of any team this year. But they are still bottom of the ladder.

This is so cringe.

Why are Port supporters, players and even the coach so needy for acknowledgement?

You know you are a genuine contender when you dont give a damn what people think and just quietly go about your business adding premierships to your collection.
So you hang shit of Port Adelaide fans, but when you get it back you go all whinging....
Opposition supporters: "why is eveeything about Richmond"

YOU MAKE IT ABOUT RICHMOND.

At no point did I utter richmond out my mouth but your jealously and envy is right here for all to see. Pathetic.

So insecure, so jealous and so lowly. I seriously laugh at you and your weak minded supporters and club.
...
And yet you’d probably be the type of poster who would post a Richmond 22 in a “All Australian 2020” thread....

Can you actually spell “Richmond Tigers fan” without the word “insecure”?

Pendles made the AA squad every year since 2008 except 2017. He’s averaged 28 disposals since 2008.

Travis Boak is a good player, but he’s not even in the same conversation as Pendles.
Not many are, personally I thought he was the best player in the league once Ablett started to slow down.
Op derailed the thread by mentioning Pendlebury.

This could be the most ironic post in Bigfooty history

Torquay calling: Boak's plan to come home, post Port Adelaide

A few quotes from the Age article. Boak will have our 100% blessing and eternal thanks if that's his final decision.

At some point after 2022, the Torquay Football and Netball Club is short odds to accomplish what Geelong's Cats and nine other Victorian AFL clubs couldn't: to get Travis Boak back.

Boak, a cornerstone of Port Adelaide's premiership campaign and of the club's revival from the dire days of 2012, wishes to emulate his late father by playing senior football for Roger Boak's club, Torquay, where Travis also played his junior footy.

"I still have a dream of playing for Torquay one day,'' said Boak, an All-Australian for the third time in 2020. "I want to get back there at some stage.''

Boak's father played more than 200 games for Torquay, while his mother Chicki was a stalwart - "legends'' was the word Travis used for both parents at Torquay FNC - of the netball division of one of the power clubs in the Bellarine League.
