Blues midfielder 'likely' to depart as Victorian club reportedly registers interest: AFL trade news
The midfielder reportedly has a suitor close to home.www.zerohanger.com
Not really news that Dow will probably be traded.
Article says Saints are interested.
Makes sense as they need more talent and a point of difference in the midfield. SOS loves recycling his picks, too.
On the flip side, can't see Ross favouring a guy that is said to have major defensive deficiencies.
Weird year for Charlie. During our bad patch he couldn't buy a free kick when warranted. Even when the streak commenced wasn't getting a look in as much as he deserved. It was only the second half of the Pies match that the umpires starting to notice the tugs, grabs and molestation. Is anyone else frustrated with the current media talk of ‘Charlie winning the Coleman because of free kicks received’? I noticed last week, he received NOT ONE. So don’t tell me these controlling imbeciles don’t listen!!!!
While on a roll - when was the last time a ‘reigning Brownlow medalist’ wasn’t commentated as such?

Such a dumb talking point. How about analysing the amount of free kicks he has incorrectly received and if this % is higher than your average footy player, then by all means talk about it. Hint - Charlie probably receives less free kicks than he deserves. Is anyone else frustrated with the current media talk of ‘Charlie winning the Coleman because of free kicks received’? Hey Mrs Eddie Betts, it probably could be described differently - however one of the definitions of the term ‘molest’ is to harass someone aggressively or words to that effect.Hello friends! I know its' frustrating when Charlie is constantly held illegally, but please don't draw parallels between sexual assault and missed free kicks.
Well, I deleted the reference but the original comment was that Charlie was "sexually assaulted".Hey Mrs Eddie Betts, it probably could be described differently - however one of the definitions of the term ‘molest’ is to harass someone aggressively or words to that effect.
I hope you don’t mind me making this point.
That’s more than fair. I only saw it after the edit.Well, I deleted the reference but the original comment was that Charlie was "sexually assaulted".
For clarity: I will always edit out or delete the words "rape" or "sexually assaulted" when they're being used to describe how a player was being handled, or how badly a team was beaten.
Gee whiz… they’re talkin it up a bit. I reckon we just worry about trying to beat Melbourne this week not all this fanfare
Im having trouble with the link but if that's the HS article about the 4 core areas you need to be top 4 in, I read that last night.Gee whiz… they’re talkin it up a bit. I reckon we just worry about trying to beat Melbourne this week not all this fanfare
Yep - that's the article. And I totally agree. I'm not a fan of this type of analysis where they pluck out particular stats in isolation. All I know is we weren't playing good footy (although not as bad as it looked) and now we are playing good footy, so let's play some more good footy & see what happens.Im having trouble with the link but if that's the HS article about the 4 core areas you need to be top 4 in, I read that last night.
Whilst exciting, its always risky looking at blocks of time independently. The reality is we are not yet guaranteed a finals spot so lets achieve that first.
Apologies linked above by blue ratts.Very good in depth article about Charlie on abc.com.au today that goes through how he kicks goals and who kicks the ball too him. Well worth a read but I don't have the capacity to link it.
